One can still enjoy and play the game even if some issues are present.
Looking at the uneven matches and totally weird populated campaigns I guess this only makes half sense,
And why not the other way around?
We already have all you need to make not historical customs.
It will save a ton of development time.

My faw weapon is broken beyond repair and nobody gives a shit.
Bots are dumb as fuck.
The main game loop is kind of boring and not rewarding. Just shoot at AIdiots and throw explosions at problems.
Infantry vs vehicle combat is boring
No teamwork.
And other smaller I won’t bother listing.

Hmmm, lets see. We currently have arcade matchmake that has players.
And we currently have custom games where you could host historically accurated games. Obviously its not perfect but could be done.
Yet theres none of them.
Lets just think for a while why it would be silly idea to switch “empty lobbys” to matchmake and switch the rest of playerbase into custom games.
And how many custom games are there with berlin equipment in moscow maps?

I m not sure if people understand that after all the content that was added to the game for everyone that can’t be coded per map per match per setting is far more abundant that “OK this gun and this tank were present in this batle, it can be used”.
Either the game needed a amount of players that don’t have to do that. Or people loosing content unlocked.
The first is possible. The second would only make people go away.
idk im not really fan of customs. I prefer the mainstream arcade.
Quite sure there will be some sort of limitations to prevent much as possible such scenarios.
