Its basically a Yak-9 (VK-105PF) with a bomb bay just behind the cockpit
It can carry 4x 100kg bombs
Or even… PTAB’s
4x 32kg PTAB’s (128 total)
Once you drop the bombs, youre pretty much as good as the standard Yak-9 in combat (Flight Performance)
Would be a good fit at BR 4 (the current standard)

If gaijin wants to add Yak-3, then add the Yak-3T as premium cuz at least 37mm can be useful for CAS vs tanks

I just looked at 4x100kg bombs and what it competes against. lots of german fighters dont carry anything either (re.2000, C.202, 190 A-1, 190 A-4, 109 F4, 109 G10, 109 G-14)
having a good payload on a fighter is highly prized and weighs on its BR
Yak-9B is a cool plane that I have suggested it in the past aswell
IAR-81， It is in BR2.
So is the p40 (2 of them with battlepass)…There are exceptions with bigger than usual ordnance, like the IAR 2, the p-40e and the mustang. All borderline and over used because of it
The list above, was the many fighters without ordnance if we are talking about planes without bombs being useless
What I mean is to tell you that having a 250kg bomb in BR3 is not surprising at all.Similarly, the America also has P-51, and I don’t think four 100kg bombs would be very powerful. There will definitely be more fighter jets with bombs in the future.
We are all aware that almost no one would choose a fighter jet without bombs.
