I have been using the Yak-1 for a long time, and only recently have I started using the Yak-7B. At first I snubbed it, but I have to say that I changed my mind. The 7B has a better climb rate, is faster and has a cannon armament that I prefer to the 1. Despite the few rounds the ShVAK 20mm - Berezin 12.7mm pair is devastating. The bombs are less powerful, but with a little training they are still effective, allowing a much more manageable control of the plane at full wing load. What do you think? Is it better to stick with the Yak-1?
I love Yak-1 but only because I sticked to it during Moscow until the end.

Yak 1 because more bomb. But p 40 e1 is also good

Short answer: Yak-1. It’s solid at BR1. at BR2 i think the p-40E is so much better than the yak-7b because of the ordnance.
But really, I prefer the LaGG-3 at BR1. Cool camo, good armament, and I feel it’s just as agile as the yak-1 despite shown stats being worse.
Not that the difference between BR1 or 2 matters much in current MM.
I prefer the Yak 7 B (both are good though). Its flight model feels alot better overall and It is a very solid machine, Often take hits and it doesnt effect performance.
I do not like the P-40 by comparison 
(When I pick a Fighter, bombing ability is secondary, I want to have the fewest amount of planes better than mine as possible for air combat)
