Will it ever be added?
Doubtful, and honestly, I really hope not. The whole point of being able to turn crossplay with PC off while on console is so we don’t have to play against mouse and keyboard.
If you wish to play on mouse and keyboard, play on PC. Its free there too.
You can disable cross-play on war thunder too and that has mouse and keyboard, so does many other games, I wouldn’t be here asking for mouse and keyboard if I had a pc, I don’t have thousands of dollars to buy a bare minimum pc which is even more low end in canada since we’re years behind the us in tech.
Warthunder isn’t a fps; where having a mouse and keyboard is a massive advantage. The pace of enlisted is much faster and the gunplay is nothing like warthunder unless you’re in a vehicle.
I think the problem could be solved if console players using m&k were put into the same player pool as pc players. That way other console players that choose not to play with pc players wont have to face anyone with a m&k advantage.

That doesn’t change the fact that m&k is a MASSIVE advantage. Other games found this out the hard way and lost a decent chunk of their console player base because of it. As much issue as they have filling lobbies, I hope they see the error of the other companies ways, and do NOT enable m&K for console.
I get that you don’t have the money for a PC, but using a controller like everyone else on console shouldn’t be a problem. If you still find that you are having difficulty, I suggest rebinding your control setup to something that works better for you, practice, and turn off crossplay with PC.

Nah bro. There isnt any support for non-controller input devices on console on enlisted. I cant set my keybinds or aiming device
using a xim will get you banned
I would rather have a fair playing field like that but xim cheaters exist
then crossplay should never be a thing because as long as pc players and console players are going to be fighting each other, there will always be a demand for mouse and keyboard support. turning off crossplay doesn’t help the situation because xim cheaters exist on crossplay disabled servers
