When the people in our household use the current non-Steam PC version of Enlisted they generally play Enlisted on a large TV screen with an Xbox Controller.
The current Xbox Controller settings in our non-Steam PC version of Enlisted have been heavily altered from the default settings to custom settings, this is what makes Enlisted fairly playable with the Xbox Controller in our household.
Currently an Xbox Controller settings conflict arises when Steam is active on the PC when playing the non-Steam PC version of Enlisted. In other words the Steam Controller settings currently conflict and override the settings of the Xbox Controller in the non-Steam PC version of Enlisted. This Xbox Controller settings conflict in Enlisted currently can be solved by terminating Steam from memory while playing the non-Steam PC version of Enlisted.
This brings me to the following question.
If we were to switch our current non-Steam PC version of Enlisted to the new Steam PC version of Enlisted, would the Steam PC version of Enlisted use the settings for the Xbox Controller in the Steam PC version of the Enlisted menu, or would the Steam default Controller settings again conflict with and override them like is currently the case in the non-Steam version of Enlisted on the PC?
Has anyone actually tested this yet?
The answer to this question of course directly relates to whether or not the Steam PC version of Enlisted will be playable with any current custom Xbox Controller settings of the non-Steam PC version of Enlisted.
No speculation answers please, what is needed is actual test data.
