we already had an modern event focused on using automatic weapons, so what about making a WWI event where players will use mostly bolt action rifles and revolvers

I really want to see this too. Including engineers making machine-gun nests, Invasion matches where you take lines of trenches and dugouts and go through no-man’s land, and with massive artillery barrages! Bolt-action gameplay is one of the best things about Enlisted.
Though I don’t think we will see that because, as far as I know, War Thunder doesn’t cover that time period.

I’d love a WW1 type of event. God knows it’s been ignored by game makers for ages (yes, there are a handful out there). Best of all, for their modelers anyways, it wouldn’t require nearly as much work since a lot of the early rifles of the second war came from before the first.
If I were to be a bit extra, I’d say it should be set early in the war just because I’d love to see horses used in actual offensive operations. Though some might prefer to see the early tanks instead

also, since we already have 90% of the relevant weapons from WW1 in the game, it wouldnt even be much of a challenge to make this event happening.

On topic. Absolutely would love WW1 setting. I love the BA play in this game and it would be so exciting to have a whole mode dedicated to it.

No short Event, thats wasted Power… Let us choose WW1 or 2. Most Maps are Beautiful for that Szenario. I dont need 5th or 6th Campaign, they should take what they have and do it Perfect. Maybe AV7 and Renaults and lets go,

Radioman could be a thing, then you can call down mustard gas attacks or artillery attacks. Gas seeps into buildings and around cover
