Ok so i might be nitpicking right know but i noticed smth weird.
So the PIAT was a AT shaped charge launcher. Now the difference between the PIAT and AT rocket launchers (Bazooka, Panzerschreck) is that it wasn’t a recoiless system. It had an impact system that implied a heavy spring and a a rod that hit and launched the shaped charge. So, hearing the sound for rocket launchers in a impact launched system that had no backblast is weird.
Here we have a soldier that is compressing the spring in the PIAT.

It’s basically a crossbow?

In a weird way… yes, it has no explosives or rocket engine to propel the round, rather it is hit by a rod that has a heavy spring behind it and that action shoots it from the launcher. Also, while it was really effective against armor, it had a ~100 kg force spring in it, so the recoil was horible.
A single shot semi-semi automatic crossbow without the bow.
Plus the arrow is explosive
Oh, and the arrow also fires a smaller arrow upon striking a surface, penetrating the surface.
