This grenade adds absolutely nothing to either Normandy or the Pacific. It is simply spammed by players who’ would rather just ruin the experience for everyone.

Why do this when you already know that bad players spam explosives to get that dopamine hit they’re otherwise lacking already?
Like actually why add something you know is just Molotov Cancer+++
White phosphorus would’ve been, in theory, an okay addition if they’d intensified it and shortened its timespan, so you can clear rooms with it but it isn’t an area denial weapon.
Instead it’s the worst addition to infantry combat since impact grenades and flinchlock. The way WP is now - with people carrying three grenades a soldier and using it to completely deny the opposing player the capture point - acts as an immense detriment to gameplay flow and enjoyment.
I disagree, it actually does add to the campaign, but in its current state it is far too strong. If it didn’t go through walls I think it would be fine. If Sandbag walls for example could keep the gas from spreading as much, we wouldn’t see nearly as much issue either.
The worst is when you’re about to throw one and get shot before you can release it…
So it hits the ground and obliterates the entire squad and teammates as well
(Or when you’re you’re in the middle of throwing one, and a teammate runs in the way and it bounces off their head/back)
The only problem is that players can carry too many white phosphorous grenades
A single white phosphorous grenade wouldn’t do much damage, but a squad of riflemen can throw up to 27, which is scary
I thought this spamming of 27 white phosphorus grenades was tyranny.
What about limiting the number of bullets that can be carried, or making them usable only by certain military units to reduce the number of white phosphorus bullets thrown? My idea is that only flamethrowing soldiers can carry them.
I think there should be some restrictions on WP grenades. However, I disagree about removing them completely or nerfing their power.
The difference between beginners and advanced players is so great in this game that WP is necessary to help beginners. Some people may think that I am an advanced player and don’t need them. But in the real game, you will be playing with many beginners. If the game is made so that only users who know the theory can conquer the game, most of the matches will be impossible to conquer except for those who are teaming up with friends.
So how should we limit this? I think there should be a limit on the number of WP grenades you can have. Exsample, A maximum of 3 per squad.
