The problem is “isn’t really big” When you are defending or attacking an open point thats CONSTANTLY being blown up there isn’t a choice. Is the point you are attacking on a bridge? well screw you there is so much explosives hitting the point you wont live more than 20 seconds between the tanks expo packs and the unending arty its unbelievably irritating. Whats the point of radio squads? Smoke arty, airstrikes and 4x faster cooldown.

Two of your suggestions are not even issues for me to begin with so I call them horrible and pointless. Smoke sounds nice, fighter is waste of resources for something which can be done by players and engineer is simply too much for the spaghetti game.

Once again “Balance” most of the gold guns are meh or are outleveled. You cant use the skin until you’ve unlocked the base tank. Planes don’t have long enough view distance to see people nor do players give marks. “Get grown up” uh because I don’t want people childishly shitting on ideas without even going “Oh hey you know what might improve this” going “Uh crap idea” No information, no constructive criticism and basically useless. Give better ideas then please ONCE AGAIN this is where I post ideas to get people talking about improving the game not for people to immaturely crap on ideas.

should arty get nerfed it would be pretty much useless in other situations…
only solution i can think of is to play big game, wait for it to be over and then strike, even if next arty is called right after, it still takes time, during which one can make much progress in capturing the point.
currently, bigger problem with bridges are mortar squads, tanks and heavy machineguns, which can be somewhat countered for sure, but then again, cant arty be as well?
Arty cant be countered because once again if you get artyd constantly you just get wiped all others you suggested can be easily countered by either blowing them up or smoking (which sometimes can be useful) Arty is just irritating in open areas. Maybe they should make a team timer like one every 2 minutes that would at least break it up a little.
