Making a world war 1 version of enlisted with trench warfare, tanks like the British MK V, the French Renault FT-17, Schneider ‘C.A.1’, the Saint-Chamond, the German A7V and biplane bombers and fighters would bring something new and interesting to the game.
The offer on WW1 shooter games is quite limited with Battlefield 1 being too arcade and unrealistic compared to Enlisted and others such as Isonzo too simulator like.
Applying this idea would attract a bigger playerbase and many of the ww1 weapons are already in game so it would not require too much work to add the rest.
I love this idea, it would definitely be better than expanding the game to the Cold War, there are many weapons from World War I in this game, such as Lewis gun, Chauchatt, MP18, Farquhar–Hill rifle, m1903 pedersen device and many others, the only problem is that many of these weapons are from premium squads and battle pass and those who bought them complain about their addition to the game for free, to solve this problem and other possible problems they should either make a completely new game, or completely split Enlisted into two parts, I like the second option more, it is a simple task that can attract a lot of players.
I agree with the split idea to solve problems with premiums and battle pass weapons, just make it two different sections of the game with everything separate.
@Comrade_Sina Agreed.
How about bring back campaigns but instead of WWII battles its
First World War Second World War.
It would make Enlisted a more interesting and appealing game.
In some ways the objective system would actually work better in a WW1 setting.
My only concern is DF cant even put a Lewis gun in the Allies tech tree or give Studebaker a parking brake and it took YEARS to get ONE new Burma map.
So I’m not sure when we’d ever get a WW1 Enlisted
Side note Id like to see interwar conflicts too like the Chaco War and Spanish Civil War.
Yes, they are incapable of even the simplest things, I’m just waiting for Manchuria, given the current situation, I might not even expect it anymore.
