exactly,thats why people like us we keep bringing defenders ideas even if they dont like it,because it give spicy things to the game,me as Japan lover I focus in bring concepts like the prototipe rocket planes for counter the rocket spam of allied ones

Defenders should not be holding the attackers back with their bodies that’s what the fortifications are for

well not really, most of time when people moan about defence is when they face a grouped team.
Which is entirely different problem.

Quite sure these same guys that gets theyr ass handed to them while defending by groups, most likely would not steamroll the said group while attacking against them.

Sure theres issues such as paras being capable to contest cap technically instantly once its open but thats yet again one problem that definitely cant be fixed with barbwires.

What do you think having unlimited defender tickets are for?

Are you too scared to die in a game that treats lives like pennies?

Are you one of those ww2 roleplayers who think defending is all about camping behind a machinegun with relative impunity while the attacking team is forced to sustain losses?

No I would just like us to actually use our fortifications and not hold enemies back with a mountain of bodies.

Then learn about WHEN is the best time to use them.

Just like vehicles, there is a time and place where fortifications matter.

You can play muh große Festung when you have a half-decent team that won’t collapse without your presence.

Fundamentally, you will need bodies fighting to defend the objective. Don’t be squeamish when you have to be the one to spend lives for the team.

If you want some layer of consistency for you to do whatever the hell you want, you should shamelessly ask for people who know better to babysit you as you play with sand castles.

I understand all that I just want lives to be used tactically instead of zerg rushing objectives or just holding back enemies with a mountain of bodies and I have no problem with dying because me and the suicide button are great friends but my only problem is dying pointlessly.

That is true but we have to acknowledge them to a certain extent otherwise we can’t have a conversation in this forum and hopefully reach an understanding and possibly get something through.

I agree with that, the general ideas that we have in consensus in different forum posts is like this: defenders should know where the next point should be, whether to be able to establish a defense, an improvement in the types of structures, whether defensive (like new varieties), improve resistance to explosives, add kits to remove barbed wire so that this can only be used by engineers, fix bipods, improve offensive structures and perk adjustments

Apparently the people who hit the 50% chance need more than map advantage and unlimited tickets.

This was answered a long time ago by Keo
Keo was quite adamant that they didn’t want Gauridianreaper/Enginneers, knowing where next base is, they don’t want that sort of play,

then they should just let us play custom games and let us do our events and grinding in there so people can play public matches while we have our fun in custom games.

Cant help, but agreeing with you, atm,
All i can say, is that i don’t see it every game, but is def like 2-1 ratio
When i start not everyone was a premium player, game were fun, and lasted, sometimes to long
But once most where high lvl, maxed trees, they became bored, and when all running around with assaults’, and smg, that can kill 2-3 squads on one clip, it started getting worse.

Now add a event to the mix, and you have just games full of high teir, all competing against each other for the limit number of enemy players,
So you have just one team stacked with groups, and all high teir, and limited kills to get, the event number requirement, hence the Zerg

See that another thing, you used to be able to.
Wont go into it much, that party was spoiled a long time ago, by the few

I also wonder how you intend to set up fantastic defense if at the sight of a Federov, AS-44, RD or, presumably, Tokarev, you have said you insta-quit.

One of the reasons that cause zerg rush to be useful is because some defender choose to ambush enemy instead of retreating/spawning at the next point.
So I doubt much will be change since many players didn’t even care about defending the point.

I also don’t think fortifying the next objective is a good choice since the current objective maybe capture by the enemy when you are busy fortifying the next point.

So I think it is better to implement a better retreat mechanic similar to Battlefield V and Battlefield 1 .
