Within the test server, Jumbo tanks on the Pacific Campaign are almost unbeatable

agree, Jumbo has no business on the Pacific, neither Tunisia too, wonder who thought it was a good idea to send a heavy tank to a front where literally nothing can pen it frontally, neither on the turret cheeks or sides, hell even most tanks will struggle to get a shot through the 76mm armor of the sides

then what is the weakness of the jumbo in the pacific?AT guns?those will be seen and destroyed before the slight chance you could possibly hurt it.the AT weapons japan has are just okay at dealing with tanks really lightly armoured in their campaign anyways, they don’t need something a 105 MM cannon, the most powerful available for the germans, can’t penetrate from the front.you keep saying,“oh historical accuracy, wasn’t there, shouldn’t fight there”,but it might be on of the more effective counters to the jumbo, this thing cannot be killed by a tank 9 times out of 10,CAS is useless, and using AT weapons is risky, especially if they are grey zone camping.the japanese can not fight this monstrosity, what is a puny little japanese tank going to do against something that kills tigers and panthers with relative ease?what is the lunge mine going to do,it can barely do anything against the tanks in the pacific?the only thing that might be able to scratch off the paint of it is the AT rifle they have, getting really close, unnoticed by the tank and infantry, and shooting below the tracks.

jumbo in tunisia is justifiable since both panther modifications are being sent to tunisia with tiger being a viable swap in for the panthers but yeah shouldn’t be in the pacific

that’s fair, didn’t know that about Panthers…which yeah is kinda iffy them going to Tunisia

they should swap both panthers for the tiger 1 because tiger was there and it would be funny to have a ping pong match

Actually, if you play Stuart in Normamdy, in the same team I am, I will make your life miserable

My point was I don’t think the Jumbo should be in the Pacific because of integrity, it wasn’t there. Or the Dicker Max in Normandy

But I was saying in general no vehicle is OP or insurmountable. Many German vehicles are capable of fighting it from the sides, as most vehicles in general

And personally in my experience I don’t really encounter gray zone campers. Most vehicles are usually close or not far out of reach that they can’t be dealt with. Maybe it’s just coincidental or the kinds of players in my particular server or region.

And if you’re dealing with a Jumbo sometimes it’s good to choose the right moment to attack

Yep Jumbo is too durable even in Normandy, Sherman is fine since it can get penned by Japanese 75mm so it’s fine.

Thats the point people try to tell ya but you kept brushing it off as meta-whoring.
And it still doesnt make sense to say the task of Jumbo is to kill tanks and Ha-Go to kill inf even though the Jumbo is cleary better in both jobs than the Go.

Please tell that to the wrecked tons of wrecked Stuarts on the beach that tried to take on the Panther.
All they did was wasting tickets for the Allies.

Whats the point of the Stuart if 90mm and MGs can do all jobs better than the Stuart? Why dedicated to focus on one thing even though the tank can do everything just fine and better than the Light?
So there is no reason to use Stuart if you own anything else. And no, its not the same because you cant be as effective as the Pershing already starting with the fact that you cant pen tanks frontally and poor HE and armor values. Thats simple manner of math, not to mention that you make it too eas for infantry to kill you.

The wrecked Stuarts on the beach might differ about that.
Also, that is again contrary to what you admitted that you are well aware that early gear is mostly worse. Then ofc it will matter what you use for the team.

You are not supporting the team if you keep crashing and get blown up, at least as attacker. Ticket bleeding.

Thats the issue. You are making own definitions partly contrary to the common definition all the time to the point your own arguments dont make any sense. Together with making claims and not backing them up with factual arguments but feelings.

And I thought Swiss are unfunny.

Japanese 75mm just destroyed me in my Jumbo even tho i have killed 4 of his crew.

I really hope they balance the vehicles with the merge update… Don’t think any staff or even paying attention to the balancing yet. THey just want to push the new update out without any balance checks.

Yes
That is what you’re supposed to do

Its piss easy
Its very rare that the Jumbo wins vs my PzIVJ or Tiger in Normandy even cross map

Just flank Tiger IIH. I dont see the problem.

I like the wehrb cope when something is genuinely impenetrable :joy:
I have to aim vs Jumbo = Actual German holocaust
Because Panther and both sets of Tigers vs US 75s =/= Having to aim at actual weakpoints for once like everyone else

You can swap it vice versa to the Burgermain.
I dont see the difference so much beyond cannon.

This test was only a day long, so very few people got the new Japanese tanks.

Without them, yes, the jumbo is near unbeatable. But that won’t be the case in the future.

Do I actually have to break it down to toddler levels?

Okay
Jumbo is penetrable by every German tank via that MG port and sometimes HE fuckery on the tracks vs sponsons
Z E R O US tanks can pen the KTH frontally, and flanking on narrow maps isn’t an option and gurgling that like its some sort of actual people reply betrays your utter lack of any critical thinking
Its an even worse situation than when the Panther was added to combat the Jumbo since Germany suffered so hard they needed an unironically impenetrable nazibunker from which to hide in in the grey zone
And thankfully German tankers are so stupid on average you can flank them a good deal of the time. That is not an actual solution to a balance problem, but being the simpletons they are Axis mains thought the ‘just flank’ meme from WT that was spouted when the Jumbo was added is actual advice and an actual gotcha

Yeah, Japs do not need to face the Jumbo or any of the Yank heavies at all.
It is incredibly one sided

As its a work in progress, its always 1 sided for a portion of time until a new addition (either the next vehicle or damage/armor model change). Happened for t-50, t-34 jumbo, panther, kv-1 etc etc

I reckon one day this will show up and the jumbo wont bother Japan at all

you want Chi-Ri sauce?
