I’m one of the fortunate ones that’s been playing a long time, and has everything the box has to offer save for some guns. However, I know that most players don’t. Adding a pity system like most gacha games have would benefit both parties. Players would be willing to invest more if they knew that they would get a guaranteed reward at certain number of pulls. This would incentive playing more (for silver grinding) and would also incentivize players to buy silver packs, thus increasing the game’s revenue.
As such, I would suggest the following system be in place for players with squads/vehicles to unlock:
50 pulls: Pitybreaker. Guaranteed pull between a weapon, squad, or vehicle
100 pulls: Full Pity. Guaranteed squad or vehicle
For players that have all squads/vehicles unlocked
yes but gatcha games also have duplicates
wish granted pity pull added
but you can now get duplicates
which is automatically converted into nick name tags or change of appearance, small amount of silver lol
Or the could just change the odds since they are BRUTAL…if you win the specified slot you should get a token to pick whichever weapon/squad/vehicle you want. Let’s face it…with pull rates of 1/2/3% for the box, then a few percent for what you want in that box…it’s litterally like winning a lottery.
Not to mention that some weapons are beyond brutal and not worth the same, pistols, swords, knives, axes, hammers, even some rifles should give you enough to equip a squad then be removed from the box. A tiny pistol is not equivalent to a gatling or Breda.
So people need to STOP investing in the game until they actually start investing time into it again. This cut and paste of War Thunder, painting weapons for events, or welding planes together is beyond lazy and brutal…no event marking the end of the war in a WWII game is just sad. Especially since the are trying to monetize everything now and most of it isn’t worth it.
