Perhaps, but there seems to be a chance with the amount of low tier Finnish equipment Gaijin have been working on. Wouldn’t it seem economical to do a campaign in Enlisted featuring the Finns? Winter War, Leningrad or otherwise?
Leningrad maybe, but that still has issues of it’s own. Winter war is never going to happen because A. It falls outside of the purview of WW2, B. There is not enough interesting new equipment to justify it, as both sides will basically use copy paste equipment from Moscow with the Fins having 2 or 3 unique weapons and C. there is not enough equipment at that point in time for either side to have more than 20ish levels.
TBH, I’m very fascinated by Eastern Front History so Leningrad is even more, maybe more of a win! Leningrad could include both German and Finnish squads 
Also, the Germans would have more heavy equipment to combat Soviet Armor which would inevitable defending it in campaign. Am I thinking of the history correctly?
The thing about Lenningrad is it’s 1941-1945 so what you said is both correct and incorrect at the same time.
If leningrad happen one day is the most unbalanced campaign of the game because of the timeframe, with monster like
Pz2 vs is1

Quadro mentioned that there used to be a campaign called, “White Sea”, in the game files. Is this so? That actually implies the Baltic theatre which is very interesting. WW2 Saint Petersburg maps sound beautiful!

Granted I am not ignoring what he says about how he feels for the idea, just wondering if it is in the files currently or if you see details in the past?
If they were considering a campaign titled, “White Sea”, they could diversify the unlocks with gun boats and the like, just another spitball. Goes without saying, Soviet navy and Marines were heavily involved in this theatre along side German equivalents.
I have never heard that before, and Quadro has also been known to be wrong before. Also if they do Navy, they really should do it for Pacific as that is where the vast majority of Naval action occured in WW2, followed by the Atlantic, and that is a big if.

Like @LordBeaverbroke, I Never heard that, the only ok from the dev team was in CBT before the game public release, that they are awere to the request of it from the community and them are not aganaist add here

To much time is passed, dev team changed idea to much time on how a campaign need to be ecc…
See a winter war campaigns is likely hard, but if they gonna add leningrad you can see finnish here because finnish army was half of the Axis forces here, but even for this, after they raped stalingrad removing italian,hungarian and romanian making it a classic german vs soviet union, i dont have hope to see axis minor outiside some premium squad in the future
There aren’t enough things for the Finns, there wasn’t even a file named like that, and if there was, it’s gone because the developers changed their minds
remember that the developers originally intended the game to be pay per campaign
I agree with the Pacific getting Naval attention first actually. For the “White Sea” concept, they could utilize more of the low tier coastal gun boat models from War thunder.
I’m fairly confident that between the Amphibious ground vehicles such as the German Landwasserschlepper or the soviet T-38, they could actually make a very fun campaign to include at least a few unlocks never seen before. Additionally, i realize the German vehicle I mentioned was traditionally unarmed, I would support an unlock for the axis to include captured t-37’s , photo records of both Germans and Finns with them in their possession ;)!
Also there are map opportunities; for example snow covered islands, Leningrad’s beautiful architecture and Finnish Baltic fishing villages :).
Lastly, I realize there would be repeat unlocks, a mostly unavoidable situation no matter what campaign they choose next. Personally, I believe they will try to squeeze 1-2 more WW2 theaters out of the game before going to Korea or Vietnam eras.
I hope the Battle for Leningrad comes true …
