So, I see a very few people only did this suggestion, so I also want to be a part of the very few of them, I was thinking about Enlisted making a step forward and add the Winter War campaign. In my opinion it would look pretty cool since a lot of people may show some interest on that.

considering that campaigns won’t really be a thing in a near future…
finland on it’s own doesn’t really have much to offer for a tech tree.
so… not to bash your idea… but yeah… not really worthed for what it’s offer and what would bring.
you can make your own through mods though.

I mean I can see your point there, yeah, the tanks might be Russian tanks and German weapons, but it seems a very nice Battle where people can make Progress. As it seems like a very fun one, I know that Finland might not have a big tech tree, but the battles might be fun and intense.
It could still work as a subtree.
The winter war maps and gear would be tied to low BR matchmaking.

what i just said could be… gibberish.
but essentially, devs are planning to make this game somewhat similar to war thunder. where they will merge all current factions, into tiers and battle ratings.
in a sense, with factions and tech trees.
to give a better idea, here a brief/glims of the future;
and if you want marathon and read long wall of texts for better understanding,
here is somewhat of a chronological order
and, the first link that i sent ( of the spread sheet, it’s the closest one )
so, tldr,
you can either try to do it your self with mods which… i’d say it’s somewhat of a long process, but a rewarding one.
( as you can actually get gold order weapons if your mod gets featured )

Probably, but making it a as a Battle would be a much better point, see as people would like Finnish uniforms, maps and the voices probably it wouldn’t be a bad idea to add it. I can confirm that lots of players would play it as it seems pretty interesting as a battle. Yeah, the Finnish do have Russian and German weapons and German and Russian Tanks like: T34 and Stug but it would look interesting in my opinion.
Theres talk uniforms will be dynamic based on map. If you got finland map, you would get fin uniform

I just left my opinion on what could make the game more attractive to players, and improvising on other things the Winter War wouldn’t be so bad after all, people would like to see new forces to the game. It would be really cool based by my words and thoughts, but people do have other opinions.
Yeah thats fine. Im just pointing out that they are going to alot of trouble to merge campaigns to get rid of battles/campaigns.
I like the idea of the winter war, just suggesting a way it could fit for the path they have chosen

I dont think is a problem if finland gonna be added even if they gonna use recycled soviet/german equipment and show up only in some eastern front map as german alternative, is a player choice grind it or not dev can simply give us the possibility of do it for a more complete ww2 rapresentation

as much i don’t mind findland, i just don’t see the necessity.
it won’t make it past tier 2.
which it’s somewhat of a shame, and the same could be said about italy and japan.
although, they actually had more tanks, weapons, airplanes and generally more.
which, a campaign should provide something unique and fun.
not… reused assets left and right.
hence, if it has to come, i’d rather see it as units for moscow and / or premium units.
as I see it, the Italians, unlike the Japanese, will end up as an alternative (german) enemy for the allies on different maps, and therefore this can also be applied to Finland, Romania etc… it is not necessary to give finland a standing tree but simply give at least 3 infantry squads,one vehicle squad and some national gun for roleplay with the faction

Yea but as gastano said, it’d have to be a different variant (which I wouldn’t doubt theres multiple of) which I am definitely open to having.

Just did a quick lookup, there are bipod versions, stockless versions and foregrip versions. Hehe
I might have to take a look at this myself.
