I know these have been in the game for a while but it’s appears to suggest winter maps for Japan.

nope.
those are for customs.
if you play a mod in stalingrad, moscow Rzhev, or ardenne, you, as a japanese player, have options to at least sort of blend with your own vehicles.
The only possible “winter” map for the Pacific would be the Aleutian Islands Campaign. Honestly I think it could be an interesting map. Maybe one day we’ll have it in game

Anything asides from the islands and jungles. It is getting boring playing the same maps all over again
Manchuria wouldn’t work because the campaign took place in August 1945, summer.
I mean the whole point of playing the PACIFIC theatre is that 90% of maps are going to be tropical jungles.
It’s a historical WW2 shooter, we play on historical battles. If that means 50 Pacific jungles, Eastern Front winter, insert France village then so be it
Except BR1-2 would be Khalkhin Gol.
There is much more in pacific than just generic jungle. I just want a bit variation

Most of them probably were jungles but we aleady have 3 maps in jungles. I hope the devs will add something different
