I like the 1866 because I am not really very good with bolt action rifles, except at long range. However, 2/3 of my kills are at medium or short range, so the 1866 is perfect for me. Same with the MP35 level two smg. I hate it at short ranges because it shoots so damn slow, I get one shot for every half dozen PPS43’s so I lose most of those battles, but, the gun is good at longer ranges which is why I wish they would make it a fully semi auto and change it to a semi auto rifle instead of an smg, or increase the hitting power.

Paid 17 gold to unlock it early and i’m not impressed. Gun is impossible to shoot straight in a quick succession since it bounces all over the screen (dispersion of an lmg), and it takes AGEEEEEES to reload.
Damage is fine as you always need 2 shots. I really like it’s visuals a bit of gold, usual wood and polished metal.
I wish it would get buffed and put at BR2 as you will get uptiered to that BR anyway and i even did while i was testing that gun. Fighting vs MP40 and Armaguerra was not a great experience. While playing single match with that gun i wished i would be playing at BR2 and using Soviet Winchester instead.
