Will USA P47 rocket destroy Japs at first point? As they do not take off from carrier

P38’ m8 rockets are terrifying when allies play in attack.

Maybe the first thing you should do is leave the place where you might be attacked within 10 seconds.
Or dig a hole
Instead of spending 20 seconds waiting to die

LOL

P-38’s M8 is weak compared to P-47’s HVAR.
When USA BR5 arrives in Pacific you will be praying for M8 instead of HVAR.

Yes

Probably. Love my HVAR’s

Have you seen both new Japanese planes? best p47 will do, is suicide rocket
it will be food for new fighters.

Except that the japanese can only have one fighter in the Air and a subpar attack plane. The US could still opt for both a P-47 and a Tempest in the air at the same time, good luck to this japanese fighter dealing with both of them at the same time.

Well, suicide bombing is already a viable tactic in this game unfortunatly…

It depends if the Mitsubishi is considered fighter or attacker, with its TWO 250kg… I guess it’s supposed to act as p47 counterpart somehow.

Also, Tempests are very rare. ppl overlooked the beauty because back then 20mm hispanos were broken. Then, the plane got out of the shop. I really love mine.

I know you love the Tempest, that’s why I mentioned it explicitly  But the US have a lot of other nice fighters in their inventory like P-38, Corsair, Hellcat, P-51, that might be able to overcome the Japanese planes.

I might be wrong, but I remember it being mentioned as a Fighter in the devblog. That would not be surprising, two 250 kg is equivalent to the two 500 lb bombs of the P-51 and Tempest, both of which are fighters. Just like the germans, the japs may not have a true Fighter-bomber in the attacker slot (I know about the Fw 190 but people says it is crap at dogfighting)

oh, USA fighters are fun, but…

they’re all food already for a good Japanese pilot using this:

P38 are fast. but they don’t maneuver as well. Honestly when playing Japan, 80% of the times they manage to down me is when I just dropped bombs and they come on my six with a revenge spawn. 15% of the times, I’m cocky and do a face to face where we both die… 5% is when they are smart enough to bring a pure fighter like the Spitfire. Except with spitfire, the KI-61 already wins all doghfights.

Now, imagine with the 2 new planes…
this one with really powerful armament against other planes:

and the Ki 84 that’s supposedly even more nimble.

What USA shines at, it’s payload. No faction is better at razing ground with heavy ordinance. Japan has less CAS, maybe even the weakest, but oh my, their fighters…!

Are there leaked stats for these planes? I don’t disagree if you’re basing it on the text of the news post announcing them but… meh - I’d like to see what appears in “reality.” I’m sure they’ll be (situationally) better than the existing Ki but… much?

(edit) I hope you’re right, btw… just not so sure it’ll be so clearly much better.

the new mitsubishi doesn’t get 250 kilos, it gets the naval 60 kilo (still strong) oh yeah it’s a naval plane, now the nakajima KI-84 is the one with the 250 kilo and either way it will be good since it’s an army plane so it will get airspawn

Plane cycling 4sshole: try catching me before land the floor with all the payload and spawn another :^)

You don’t need to maneuver a damn if your trajectory is mid air straight to the ground with all the payload, legit a V1 rocket but guided…

It’s a Navy plane but not a naval plane, the J2M3 is a land based plane operated by the navy. It was not intended for carrier operation, and could not take off/land on Japanese fleet carrier. Thus it will have an air spawn.

Playing USA BR 2/3/4 in Pacific I already lose to all Japanese fighters.
I cant out manouvre them and once they are behind me, it’s all over.
P-38, P-40, SBD-3, A-20, Beaufighter, they all go down quick.
Wont be any different in BR5 I think.
I dont suicide but stay up as long as possible to do maximum damage to the enemy.

Japan’s fighter jets starting from Type Zero can easily kill all silver coin aircraft
He may not be able to win a paid machine
But it will definitely be able to turn faster than those planes from the technology tree.

This is what I learned while conducting serial suicide plane tactics in the United States
They can knock me out in a row before I even get to the combat zone.

but you know
Most Japanese monkeys just want to fish for French fries
They won’t attack the planes that are slaughtering soldiers and just turn back to shorten the supply time.

What I meant here is that they are ALREADY food, with the already available fighters…

Since the new planes are bound to be even better… Japan, even if it never outclasses allies with CAS, will still maintain air supremacy with fighters.
