it has the same explosion as the 250 kg regardless
All the Bolties in I are pretty much the same minus irons, but the II and III Bolties in the British half of the tree are generally considered to be the best due to mag size and RoF
Germany beats us in SMGās hands down
MGāsā¦the BAR canāt be beat but the British stuff is kinda garbage if not used ācorrectly,ā meanwhile Iāve had much more success using early German MGās
In terms of armor itās a bit of a toss up, but a well used Pz III/IV way outclasses a well used Brit tank or basic Sherman far as I can tell, although the Sherman can put up a good fight
In terms of planes, well, we have the best CAS regardless of Low or High Tier
Eh, it really can be a toss up from the players themselves and what they run really
oh no i feel like this might get close soon unless we keep the discussion civilize.
we can start again
Fair enough
The Hyde M1944 as an AR? Sure, why not.
The Stinger? Iām not so sure about that one since it was a there is the M1919A6. But as a competition to the MG15 and the Frankensteinās monster the Japs have? I feel like there is a chance.
Still waiting for DF to add a Tech Tree version of the T20 or even Winchester Garand (SAW). I just want anything I can spend my free RP for the Allies
The US overall is more diverse than Japan. The issue right now is player base. In a few weeks, the shift will move away and Japan players will suffer greatly because the US spam machine is superior. Japan players have great infantry but the US vehicles will absolutely wear down players. Then time later, player base will favor Japan and these posts will happen again because thatās how it is
Completely irrelevant. People donāt play them because fighters in this game are a waste of time
Ki-84 has 2x 250kg, it is therefore better CAS than 90% Of planes in this game while also being best dogfighter.
The US is still dominating the Pacific, quit whining.
Circle of Poo
One of the things that caught my attention recently is the Thompson Automatic Rifle. It was designed in 1923 and could fire a .45 Remington cartridge. It also had a bipod and bayonet. This could be a nice addition to the US tech tree in a form of a potential AR to counter the Type Hei Automatic Rifle. This would would make sense because the US is set to get its own set of Assault Engineers pretty soon alongside the Japanese.
This. Pacific is a grindfest for USA (I am grinding BR2-3 Japan and USA donāt even have to try they only lose when they are overconfident thinking they are playing against bots but there is actually me and my friend Jeff the Sweatlord who has premium and keeps cycling through vehicles like a cowboy on crack), somewhat Germany as well in lower BRs, even thou I think Germany is the Grindfest for Soviets.
USA is really tough to play at low br (which I am). The low tier U.S. vehicles and guns suck pretty badly. Like how our starting vehicle is basically a poorly armored car with machine guns, and Germanyās is a freaking panzer 2. I understand the meta is totally different at high brās, but low br is very tough. Itās super hard playing against the Germans, the Japanese are more of a fair fight.
When you say lower BRā¦do you mean just BR 1? or the BR 1 and 2 Bracket?
Because onces you get into the BR 2 area Western Allies are pretty Solid. Plenty of equipment that gets the job done.
-
Decent Bolt Actions (Ross Rifle, Springfield USMC)
-
Decent Semi Auto (M1 carbine)
-
Serviceable smgs (Lanchester, Grease gun and sten (most hate the stenā¦for some reason I dont)
-
Serviceable MG (Vickers berthier and Bren Mk 1 - perhaps not amazing, but can do some work)
-
Solid AT for low BR (nothing wrong with a Piat and Bazooka at this tier)
-
Really strong Attacker Aircraft (Dauntless and P-38)
-
Really strong fighter Aircraft (Spitfire VC)
-
Really strong Tank options (Grant, Lee, Crusader. Stuart Flame thrower tank at BR 1 if you enjoy a certain aggressive style)
-
Tech Tree AA vehicle
Also not necessary but there are some nice premium units here too
- Matilda
- A.C.I
- LVT (4)
At least the US players are getting new content lol
I am at really early BR 2 (I only have a few BR 2 guns, thatās it). I donāt have any BR 2 vehicles or special weapons. It does seem like the experience gets better later in the tech tree, but early on it sucks compared to other nations. Our guns are decent, the main thing is the weak vehicles. Any tips for what I should research first as I go into BR 2?
BR 2 Vehicle wise?? cant remember which is first, Grant or Crusder. But they are both Strong so cant really go wrong
Aircraft wise I believe SBD-3 Dauntless is first up aswell which is really good at its job
The Dauntless will get you to the P-38 for another really strong option
Also just a note on BR 2 fighter Aircraft. The Spitfire VC/Trop is an absoulte monster and one of my favourites for plane huntingā¦but has no bombsā¦So its an optional side quest to get this, not a priority.
The only downside to the Dauntless is itās low speed.
It sucks (IMHO) in the Pacific due to carrier take off (combined with its low speed leading to a painful energy build). Anywhere else Iāll take it. Itās slow but packs a punch and has a good tailgun.
Thanks for the tip! As far as weaponry, do you have any recommendations? Should I prioritize vehicles over weapons?
Go with what you enjoy really. Vehicles are good score farmers however, for example I have unlocked the enitre Soviet Vehicle tree with just planes, mainly IL 2 (may or may not help with the grind)ā¦But infantry win games (especially engineers)
enjoy the ride. no need to rush
For Weapons its a bit of personal preference really. What I enjoy may not be your cup of tea but anything I quoted I rate.
I wouldnt fully equip your soldiers with all this stuff though, Maybe pick a few things you like and save your silver for later.
Decide what BR bracket you want to play the most, and save what silver you can till you get there. Just get enough to get by (that goes for buying new soldiers aswell)
