look I know that every faction has its weapons and stuff but giving the player a mg34 with no recoil from the start of the campaign isnt a good idea like maybe give it more recoil literally mp40 has more recoil then ppd even tho it has less fire rate or its just me

Germans still have belt-fed MGs that are perfect at CQB. If PPD gets nerfed, the run and gunning with LMGs should get nerfed too.

Any time I see a squad wipe (or I get wiped) by a PPD/PPSH it’s entirely the German’s fault. Let Ivan roll up right next to you and have a clear line of fire on your entire squad, what do you expect will happen?

I mean yeah I agree. I came back after taking a decent break to move across the country and I had hoped the meta had changed and it really hasn’t at all.
People still Rambo everywhere with LMGs and bolt actions remain largely irrelevant.

Its still MG squads, assault squads or full squads of engineers with select fire rifles. I just dont see that shifting which is unfortunate

it’s a shame because not only does this box people into a severely linear progression but it alsodilutes the uniqueness of factions.

Engineers are literally the only reason you even see rifles on the battlefield. If they deleted the engineer class it would dead ass be nothing but LMG/SMGs
