Yes, there will be a wipe. You will keep your premium squads and twitch drops.

Anything else would have been strange
This game offers a massive advantage for players that progressed further than everyone else / the average player. Even more so against new players. If we were to keep all progress when OBT starts, new players would be actively driven away from the game as it would be practically unplayable for them.
Wiping progression after a beta test is common for games
It was announced as well
If you don’t like wipes, do not pre-order games
Pre-ordering doesn’t have to involve a wipe - it’s the early testing that does it.
If you don’t like wipes, then don’t be a tester!
It is confirmed that wipe will happen, and it is a good thing. Nobody is going to wipe your own experience and knowledge along with premium and twitch drop stuff, so you already have advantage against new players. There is no need to greet newcomers with maxed out squads and upgraded weaponry as it would only cause harm.

I consider pre-ordering as buying any game that isn’t fully released yet.
This just makes the introduction of the coins even better.
This could be solved with a real MM but I think this would blow Darkflows/ Gaijns meta.
So the “chosen one” testers will be forced to wait among bots until the rest catches up? I don´t think that is a good idea.
Also by what are you going to create matchmaker if currently installed RNG can screw your equipment no matter how high campaign level do you have. I think that until we see new planned system, every discussion about matchmaker is just pointless.

The random picks who are trying the money system right now will have their gold refunded - as in-game currency not as real world $$'s - is that what you are concerned about?
