because everyone likes PvE, they scream if they don’t have one. Another reason is that NOrmandy allies is the only allies faction in the game cannot farm Axis bots like allies in other campaigns because axis Normandy is always populated unless in the last summer

Seriously, yeah. It’s the plane damage model AND the whole “You just directly hit a stuart with a HE derp shell from a gustav” and then that shit miraculously bouncing off. Autocannons works like a bloody RNG game thanks to all these factors. Still, I personally have no faith in the 20mm and 30mm. It’s always the 37mm doing it’s job, and we know it’s a big “Sometimes”.

They fixed most of the issues intrinsic to the 20mms and other autocannons already. Damage models have been updated ever since they added the ability to damage the actual model of the plane in game, and desync has become less and less of an issue as the game has gone on. In fact, the last time I has server desync, it was because my wifi was being dogshit. Also, the 37mm HE has 10 mm of pen at 100 m, and the stuart has about 12mm of armour at it’s weakest point, which would make it immune to the HE rounds of all German autocannons.

In Enlisted-stats? Yeah, but what matters in this horrendously patched up of a game is their offensive armaments. Thanks to the aforementioned issues, however, those machineguns works like hell if we compare them to autocannons, which honestly, thanks to the issues, makes them more like autopeashooters. Allies mains used to argue that they are OP because Axis used “Autocannons” when ingame, everyone knows they’re literal peashooters, just autocannons in name. P-47s have better and faster TTK compared to Bf 110 to stuffs like the whole desync, super slow velocity autocannon shells, and yadda-yadda.

Again, they fixed those issues. Autocannons are now just as good as .50 cals, arguably even better now because while the 20mms seem to have some mix of HE and incindeary, the .50 cals seem to be mostly using ball ammo, which is about as weak as a rifle caliber round.

As you said, “If you are skilled enough to use it” for the Bf 110 to be on par against the Thunderbolt, then yeah. Thunderbolt doesn’t really requires you to be ‘as skilled’ as the Bf 110 Pilot you’re implying. Like how Jumbo players doesn’t even needs to be as skilled as Pz IV players. They just sit on the other side of the map with their frontal armor (both hull and turret) protecting them from 99% threats from OBT for months.

Well the Bf 110 is a level 4 unlock, so it would make sense that there is a higher skill floor to using it effectively. Same with the Jumbo and the Panther. The Jumbo comes first, but is is much harder to use because of solid shell.

Then, Panther appears, and we start seeing crazy shit like how tunnel vision these allies tankers were with their Jumbo. From OBT, all they had to do was face enemy frontally, no need to angle or all that shit, and just goes boom boom safely, out of Deto-pack reach (Or if Axis is not using any planes to counter them). They lack that necessary learning curve, Axis had to just to survive. Flanking, more accurate aiming, hiding, all that stuffs that a Jumbo doesn’t requires a ‘skilled’ player to do.

First rule of playing a Jumbo, you don’t angle it, similar to the Panther. Also, good jumbo players did learn things, they learned to hide their MG ports on day one. The piss poor ones expose themselves and their weak spot, and then winder why they died. The same can be said for idiots in the German side who take a Panther or a Tiger and just charge the front line thinking their wunderwaffe German steel will protect them from everything.

Slap Axis vets tankers who had to deal with this shit in a chonky tank since OBT, and they’re literally stomping Allies tanker off to oblivion in a worse manner than Jumbo would ever have hoped to achieve. My point is as you exactly said, “Skills”. Allies vehicles doesn’t requires that + super spammable, Axis vehicles? Welp, less so.

Again as I said earlier, the Allied tankers who have experience don’t make these mistakes and can stomp the Axis tankers just as badly. The M4A1 is a beyond versatile tank and any experienced Allied tanker will know it is far superior to the Jumbo, and hence why you see people use it. Both sides have their veterans and noobs, and the veterans on both sides are equally as dangerous.

I definitely won’t be calling for Axis buff. A total rebalance is necessary for both sides.

No, Normandy is fine as is. People on both sides just need to realize that they cannot win a fight on the enemy team’s terms, and thus change that. Both sides have the tools to shift the balance of the game to their favour at any time, and to use them effectively.

I mean, come on. It’s not Axis players who have dedicated witch hunts to ‘troll’ and ‘shitpost’ at every Normandy related post. Wastedwoodsmane is a prime example of that, with his colleagues justifying his actions and literally gaslighting everyone “What is trolling? What is bad? Why should we ban him?” and all that crazy ass stuffs. The fact he is being upheld and remembered en masse for it as some sort of twisted achievement for all his harassment and abuse of Axis players (The very man who invented “Axis players = german supremist” minutes before he begged for the mods not to ban him because he ‘loved the german people and axis now’, which is outright pathetic) were Allies players.

Woodman was a single player, and he reach notoriety because he was willing to make a fool of himself for our entertainment. Axis player do not have anyone with that level of showmanship, but spend enough time trying to demonstrate that German wunderwaffe were actually dogshit and you will understand that Axis players can be just as pigheaded. As for the flaming and trolling, this is the internet, that is bog standard interaction and if you think only one side does it, you haven’t be around much. Everyone does it for every faction for every campaign, and the only reason we remember Woodman instead of all the other nameless trolls is because he was the most bombastic of them all.
