I was happy by this update so so much. And again one big step, no a step, a jump back to old good dont worth gameplay (grind) … At least you can just keep the bots count at 20, it was fun. (i dont need exp) I m already leveled up, but that bots games was so relaxing … And FUN you killing your player base again and i was so close to stay with this game and right now i can just turn it off and go play something else again …
EDIT: Bring back that 20 bots game and disable EXP if you want i dont care of that … and make bots better for example: let them drive a tank and fly with planes
people just exploited it. they blocked their OWN team so attacker dont lose any tickets and farmed bots that just stand still, ignore tanks, dont target mg nest. whats purpose of leveling if it can be skipped with exploits/unintended mechanics
too bad most players who played it didnt think same way. they just exploited it at much as possible. just checked couple matches before nerfs and most matches was one guy farming with own team blocked inside their spawn
Damn, I just want to get the pleasure of me as a player by killing bots, and then constantly upgrading equipment so that I can kill AI more easily. Is there any problem? I spend money to play PVE games to be happy. And the matching mode is also full of bots. In that case, why not allow players to kill bots directly? I am tired of fighting against players.
I might surprise you, but fixing an exploit (because frankly that’s what it was) how they did it, is faster than fixing AI. As we can see it was done in… less than a day or sth like that. I doubt they could fix AI in less than a day.
I know, but you made it seem like the players are solely to blame. The AI has improved since CBT, but it’s been very gradual. People have been asking for something like a PVE game mode for months. From what i’ve read, that what was available (I didn’t get the chance to experience it before the 2 bot limit). So they finally give us a PVE mode to take it away because their bot AI is very poor compared to similar FPS games.

But they are the ones that exploited the shit out of this mode and thus they are to blame for this nerf. Sure, there were players that sugested nerfing xp gain from CL but they wouldn’t have been listened by the devs if there was no problem,
Also it’s pissing me off that everybody is acting like they are shocked by this change and like it was totaly unpredictable.
I’m not shocked, so I hope you’re not pissed at me. I wasn’t playing Custom before the change so I didn’t exploit anything. All I was saying that this is both the devs and some of the players fault. It should have been obvious that the AI was too bad for a PVE mode, it’s been like this for months, if not a year by now (at least for when I’ve been playing). The bot AI has been a complaint on this forum for so long that people are probably coming to accept how bad it is and work around it. You could blame the devs for not seeing this coming too.
As it is said here numerous times, grinding bots is boredom in its purest form … but more options are good for more people… more players results in more people playing this game therefore bigger the chance to spend their money on the game.
Im happy of both the old mode which im playing when my friends arent online and the custom bot mode which i played mostly with friends either against bots or more players
I would rather be XP limited than bot limited and i want bots be back so i can play another new mode that is called CHILL
this wasnt even rare thing. most matches where i joined was like that. Its shame that whole pve mode has to take hit cause some people want just exploit it
