Why the Fuck is the Shell Shock 40x stronger in Stalingrad

So I was excited to play this campaign and have been disappointed in a number of ways. This issue that makes it unplayable for me is the shell shock increase. For whatever reason, explosives have full effect through any walls within the radius and the shell shock time has been drastically increased. I spend more time in this game shell shocked than not now and it is just infuriating with how many explosives are available, including tanks. Until this gets fixed, there is no way in hell I could ever enjoy this

fix the screen shake, fix the screen shake, for the love of all that is holy fix the screen shake!!! I love this game but if I started playing it as it is now that one feature alone would make me stop. Since the update its insane, i spent every game with the screen shaking more than it stood still even from explosives charges or artillery that was nowhere near me or i had multiple walls in between. Please fix it asap, it is beyond ridiculous currently.

This is also giving me increased performance issues on my old computer. I already play on low settings but now I’m having low FPS during most of the time in the matches.

I don’t have a lot of gameplay problems with shell shock though because I kill 90% of the time at point-blank range anyways.

Thank god someone else is mentioning this. Played a map of Normandy, spent 3/4 of the match shell shocked. Couldn’t do anything. It’s insane how much it’s increased. It’s making it less enjoyable to play.

Ya, thought I was crazy at first. I just uninstalled the shit after seeing how bad it was. Literally no one asked for this yet they implemented it. Now I just want to see the shell shock feature removed entirely. I really don’t see this game going anywhere if the devs think that was a good idea

It’s actually physically unpleasant to play.

I mean, like headache nausea triggering.

It’s absolutely unbearable on maps where choke points get constantly bombarded by shells, artillery and grenades.

Like, okay, I understand it’s more “realistic” but if that’s the case we should have bigger maps to avoid huge chokepoint bombardment so I don’t have to spend 2/3 of my game playing roulette with my aim even when my weapon is MOUNTED ON THE SOLID FLOOR. Not only this but I’m also noticing that movement of the characters seems more wonky than before, adding to even more nuisance when you get shellshocked.

Completely agree with OP, its unplayable.

The new concussion system punishes those who play the objective, with non stop wobble around movement, stun locked spray and pray gun fights, all with nauseous visuals and your ears are screaming with tinnitus. Its nothing short of punishment for following simple game mechanics of attacking/defending the objectives.

This 100% reinforces/promotes people (specially new players) to stay back away from the frontline and it’s flanks, camping/sniping from the grey zone and staying away from the objectives, just to be able to actually enjoy the FPS aspect of the game, that it’s supposed to be.

“Dev Team”- We got this awesome new idea for a perk for your Assault squads and soldiers! We will break standard FPS gameplay, to build around the Idea, of the usefulness of this new perk! We know you didn’t ask for it, but it’s a new idea for a new Perk feature from our “dev team” and we think you will love it!

I highly highly doubt the devs will be able to pull this game out of the grave. Just wish there was a good FPS game to play. All the recent ones are shit

calm down, just in few days they will introduce special 59,99$ premium sunglasses that reduce the shellshock.
