How is this even balanced? They get the Panzer IV . While the Moscow doesn’t even have its historical T-34?
The T-28 (which is the soviet line’s premier tank by the way) can’t penetrate the German line’s premier tank (Pz.IV), there’s a real unbalance there.
Can we please stop with the Light Tanks only for Moscow please? Its extremely anti historical and doesn’t make sense at all, considering 1941-1942 is still relevant where they still uses Medium to Heavy Tanks
I think it really makes no sense the Germans get the Medium Tank. While Soviets are still stuck with Light Tanks
T-34 were used in Battle of Moscow Historically, and we have them in game
in regards to tanks, Moscow is almost the pinnacle of ballance. Every tank, except for t60 and pz II (but its not hard to level up your campaign to lvl12 and get better vehicles), can either penetrate every oposing vehicle or has a very specific role, like t28 being a anti-infatry beast machine. Also t60 and pz II are still fun to use and can fight with most other tanks
I’m a Soviet main and I don’t think the T-28 should get any buffs. It’s specialized to mow down blobs with its extra MG turrets. Use the other Soviet tanks for better anti-tank capabilities.
And I think they will add the T-34 1941 variant eventually. It would just be way OP if it were added right now.
Also, t34 and kv-1 were one of the reasons why russia won on eastern front. They were far superior to german counterparts. That would be game-breaking if done historicly accurate
Yes it can - front turret face except the mantlet - once I figured that I started OHK-ing P-4’s - it works 
But they still have the advantage - they pen you anywhere, you got to look for the weak spots! 
But the T-28 has the better AT gun with better capabilities than the 45!
the T-28 even with APHE still has the massive shortcoming of being able to be penned by EVERY German tank - there’s enough of a “balance” feature right there!
I think you might be right actually. I tested it at Practice and I ended up penning the Pz 4 frontally pretty easily. Now I don’t know what OP is talking about.
T-28 needs its BR-350
There are plenty of places where it bounces - much of the sides and front hull is 40mm, which is impenetrable at all ranges and angles - the Shrapnel has 34mm at 0 deg and 10m!
And the rest is 30mm - which is easy to angle to defeat 34mm penetration!
the turret front is easy because it will often be pointing at you!! And if it isn’t pointing at you then the sides and rear of the turret are 30mm and not well angled so you penetrate often.
Soviet should get T-34-85 and better Tanks, as of now Soviet only has Light Tanks which is very unrealistic and doesnt make sense. Soviet uses Stronger Tanks to drive away Germans, not by using Light Tanks historically
all tanks should have double high explosive rounds! APHE, APIT belts that pierce multiple houses!
They are not in game due to balance concerns. This was already talked about by the mods.
Tanks in Moscow is fine as it is. If you want stronger tanks, play Berlin. Simple as that.

A while back. KVs were tested in game but devs did not move forward with it because they could not be balanced. iirc it was Keefox who said it.
KVs are immune to every German tank we have in the game now, even the endgame tanks will struggle to penetrate them. So, their absence in Moscow is understandable.
I personally would be open to having KV-2 in Moscow only if Germans get something like sticky explosives which can guarantee a tank kill if you take the effort to hunt a KV-2. Otherwise, it will only lead to more players leaving the Axis side which is already very thin in Moscow.
What is also very important they were immune to detpacks too unless said explosive landed perfectely on top of the engine deck.
Indeed. The amount of threads referring to the ineffectiveness of det packs in Berlin is a good enough justification to not have KVs in Moscow. But atleast the tanks can kill each other there.
