if you dont like this and want to always spam the same exact weapon with the same exact loadout in the same exact maps using the same exact meta, go away go on cod, r6, valorant there is plenty of games like that.
this change isnt realistic (the whole game is not) doesnt make any sense ecc ecc but who cares? bolt actions are usable but i still would not to a full squad of them, stop being this much butt hurt and play the game ffs.
They sit in the middle, therefore they enjoy the balance (and their increased ROF) without complaining, except maybe for the everlasting G41 reload issue.
While I like it I found it bad implemented, been playing almost only with bolt actions on Tunisia and is just beautiful taking on two-three squads at once with the laser ray of death, but the majority of people have definitely used this to make their useless playstyle even more evident, people like to say “I didn’t see more campers”, that’s a lie, play Moscow where they have the white uniform and you will see that half your team is spawning snipers and doing shit during the entire match.
And the thing is, it could be actually effective camping, if you know where to stay you can lay waste to the enemy, but they just choose the most evident window in front of the cap and stay there waiting for something to happen (usually a good player shooting their heads off there).
This days I camped with a at gun shooting HE just to make a point and made 74 kills with a well placed AT Cannon, while the usual campers where still on 20-30 kills, still lost the objective what was even better to prove my theory that no matter how good the camper is he’s never going to be better than a actual foot soldier inside the point defending it.
That’s why I said I found it bad implemented, people doing nothing for the team an entire match was already a problem before, so the last thing I was expecting was a update that rewarded even more this playstyle.
Unforgiving ttk was one of the things stay attracted me to Enlisted instead of HnG, but I could wait a bit more for it while they tried to improve the playerbase with tutorials, higher rewards for doing objectives, etc
Reducing to a big round 0 the xp for kills outside the objective and buffing to three digits the kills inside it would do enough of a change, while there are incentives I don’t find them nearly as decisive as a the difference is still too low to anyone care, the same as when they added the extra xp for engineers but we still se the lone engineer of a team on the 4th place while pilots not even very effective (like me) taking the first place
Defense has become easier and attacking harder. The amount of games where the attacking team doesn’t even make 1st cap is very high and most games seem to end at cap 2, because the attackers bleed so many tickets.
This is due to combination of:
A.) Bolts being extremely accurate to their new damage
B.) Inertia changes - the biggest reason why i used to miss with ba (random character movement) is gone
C.) Maps - plenty of open spaces on many of the old maps which are easy kill zones with ba
D.) Bots are more deadly
E.) Defenders are often camouflaged inside dark buildings and in cover, being smaller targets and or able to get the first shot in
F.) More campers means less attackers, means more concentrated fire on fewer targets
All changes combine to increased difficulty in attacking and increase in boring, turkey shoot and frustrating no-win-chance games
