Most german SMGs do have differentances and feel unique in some way, Most thompsons are flat out worst then the Lanchester.

Germany has a fine enough plane as is in the K-4.
The FW-190 attacker is fine as an attacker. May not fly the greatest but it’s a powerful ground attacker. If you feel that the Germans need something akin to the P-47, You can blame German engineers and how they fought the war.

Every Thompson is the same near over, But tell me, Is an MP-40 the same as an M38? How about the M38 and the STG-44? how about the STG-44 and the MP-28? The same can be applied to Rifles, LMGs.
The us has a choose between: M3 family, Owen gun (if you can stand the sights), Lanchester, Thompson. That’s it.
Where as Germany has a Ton of workable and useable SMGs, Some even being rather strong vs what the allies can get. Such as STG-44 and it’s family, MP-40 (Same B.R as the M3A1 while being tons better then it. Maybe on equal terms with the lanchester, I don’t remember fully), M38 40 round family (Better then the thompson), 39M (Better then the thompson)
Hell the ZK-383 works wonders, B.R 1-2 Germany has stronger smgs. B.R 4-5 Germany has stronger smgs. Just from a raw appearance, Using and playing around with the guns over my years of Enlisted, I’d take an MP-40 over an M3A1 any day of the week. And I’d take an STG-44 over every single b.r IV-V thompson.
We don’t need more Thompson Variants, We need more unique SMGs for the US in general, As most of the thompsons can be foldered as they barely are an improvement of each other.

Eh, no. While the FW’s has some serious firepower no one uses them due to flying charasterics of a steam train. Which has been broken for some years now.

at most a FW-190F-8 with panzerblitz and a single 250kg bomb.
(the soviets recieving a plane of a similar layout, and maybe the japanese recieving A6m5c with a similar loadout as well)
I don’t think there’s any alternative but to have every faction basically be symetrical at this point; I don’t think DF has the resources or focus necessary to make a good asymmetrical game using a free2play model.
