Why not add some appropriate mid way exit penalties?

Because it’s a casual game that is meant to be fun. Players who want to snipe will snipe. Not everyone is on the same skill level as everyone else. You can’t expect new players to just pick up the game and be amazing at it. They need time to learn.

Low ranking penalties are just the minimum balance and environmental protection
That’s why we need him
But the current punishments are all contrary to actual needs.

certainly
Not all low rankings deserve penalties
But only if they meet minimum standards

you know
The truth doesn’t always sound good
But the behavior of some groups can only be evaluated with certain adjectives
At least I haven’t found a more euphemistic related word so far.

Your reasons are just pure ridiculous and unnecessary.

A more friendlier approach would be to lock players in a certain BR until they unlock a certain amount of equipment in that same BR. Kind of like war thunder.

For example, I can’t progress and start unlocking equipment in BR 3 until I have unlocked a certain amount of BR 2 equipment.

You’re right
This is a casual game
So why punish specific equipment and gameplay for the incompetence and prejudice of specific groups?

Newbie? Haha
The quality of the players I encounter is the same no matter whether I am in 3+4, 3+5 or 5.
Have they played dozens or thousands of games and still haven’t learned how to fight?
How much learning time does it take to build the spawn point in a suitable place?
How much learning time does it take to drop explosive charges on a tank?
How much learning time does it take to avoid taking the main roads with ambushes?

That’s it now
But it turns out the level system is shit
They are unable to effectively isolate players with seriously low skills and equipment, resulting in two-way poisoning.
Because they can’t prevent players from using only 1 high-level equipment in the high-level field
or other behaviors of low intelligence and low ability

So blame the BR system, not the players.

High BR event rewards also don’t help new players. There’s way too many BR 5 event squads and no new players want to wait until they unlock BR 5 before they play them.

that’s not the problem
I really don’t see many people using the MG39 with the Thomson 100 or other advanced squads
Out of 10 games, only 1 or 2 at most will be seen in the upper right corner.

Personally, I really don’t care if people desert, and those who do I don’t think should be punished. It’s a FREE game for Pete sake, not like we’re playing for million dollars in prize money.

In all seriousness though, the game play is so bad most of the time why would any sane person want to stick around getting a mudhole stomped in their butts for a couple measly silver coins? For what they offer you, quite frankly it ain’t worth sitting around being someone else’s cannon fodder. :yum:

Me personally, if DF did not offer the daily objectives, I would probably consider deserting a lot more then I do. But it’s frustrating as hell to be number one on your team, sit through the spanking and come away after 10 minutes with just enough coins that I might be able to buy a large ammo pack. Was it worth the time for the crappy gaming experience? Far more incentive needs to be offered before the vast majority of deserters will even consider sticking around. Fix the match making and give MORE to the losing side. To be honest, what harm is it to give the losers more, it doesn’t come out of anyone’s pocket and we all get mudholes stomped in our butts on occasion, well, unless you’re one that only plays in your own groups.

According the the game, I deserted 3 times today. In reality, these were all callstack crashes. Once, I rebooted and rejoined the game only to crash again. The next time, after I rejoined, the server crapped out. Once, the game ended before I could experience the indignity again (rejoining).

So I guess I’m a deserter.

I live in the Philippines where the power and or internet can go off at any time. I think in the last year I have deserted 5 or 6 games just from the power going off, and about the same amount from being tossed by the internet. Once I did get booted because of internet, and once I reloaded the game, it asked me if I wanted to rejoin the match, so I clicked yes. That is the first time it’s ever asked me to rejoin. Obviously I was having a good game, otherwise I would have clicked NO!!! :yum:

true asf

You’re right, but in one game, five people quit. Are they all due to poor internet connectivity? As far as I know, most of the people who quit midway were suppressed by the other side before they left. XD
