Me and my friends played the game for 100s of hours. We are playing all campaigns and we haven’t been level 10 in any campaign yet. This is really torture. Maybe the producers are doing this to sell premium. Still, for us gamers, this is pretty tedious. We love the game very much, but many people stay away from the game because of this level torture. Leveling up should be easier.
I have to play the game for hundreds more hours to be able to use the iconic WWII weapons.
I’m sure 90% of the players couldn’t drive IS 2 or Tiger 2. They won’t be able because of the level system!
Do you own premium account?
I don’t own premium. Also too expensive for me.
That’s normal at this point with the slight shadow nerfed to XP it’s not helping They basically want you to buy premium to progress
Hundreds of hours and not level 10?..
Really need to focus on 1 campaign if its taking that long.
I need to be able to play where I want, with the army I want. Focusing on a single campaign means there’s a big problem with gameplay.
After merge you wont have that problem
Yeah, he will not have such a option anymore xD
Exaclty
Where can I get information about the merger?
Flick back through all the news posts.
But long and short of it is, all campaign factions will be merged into 1. Allies, germans, soviets and japanese.
Tech trees will be the new progression. Battle rating will define maps and what equipment you can use/face
Think warthunder like progression and MM if you know it
If they didn’t increase exp need for progression more than campaign system, which seems unlikely
So there is problem. Playing on multiple campaings means after new system merge you still will be needed to farm alot more to get those levels and play with decent EQ. Why you choosen to play this way? From the beginning me and my friend we have been playing game in certain way f. e 1-2 months one campaign until we got some decent weapons or maxed it out. Sometimes it took a little longer, then we switched to othear theathers of war. Also we’ve been switching nations to get a little from here and little from here and keep this progres. In a way you present to play it’s ineffective farming of exp and especially orders for soldiers or weapons which you need to constantly spend to upgrade your squads, upgrade weapons, vehicles etc. Consider staying in one campaign, Tunisia is decent now or for Axis. Moscow too.
They dont have to have pure American pricing for that matter, earning 6k buks a year in my country is avarage, do I really have to give 50 buks for premium? Jeez I want to eat
What people need to understand is that the devs make the game ultimately to make money. They have expenses just like all the rest of us.
The grind is rough, but with premium its not terrible. Average USD its about $10 a month which isn’t too bad. Considering many games make you pay $60-$80 just for the game itself, whereas Enlisted is free.
Keep in mind, they did very reasonable sales on New Years, which included a full year of Premium for $20.
My suggestion, if you intend to focus on the game, try premium for a month. Otherwise, wait until new years and hope they have that sale again.
Got that for Gaijin coins, yes, but ultimately games are NOT BUSINESS, its a form of art, after some huge income influx from particular projects gaming industry got filled with money-hungry businessmen, that is why we see 60-80 dollar games and DLCs in the first place, most of the additional content in early games was roughly 2-3 dollars and they gave you a lot, I wont believe that expenses have risen THAT much from that times, but now we see like 30 dollar skin packs and 15 dollar battlepasses, which you also have to grind through, the more people forget about how the things were before, the more tighter the knot would be on our necks, so dont cut them that much slack, it is not ok to consider this pricing a norm for any of the reasons, GTA 5 production paid off in like several hours of sales, and I dont think Enlisted has such budget, if any.
As someone that has worked in the industry, its still a business.
Don’t get me wrong: I do believe that many developers in general put too much focus on trying to just simply make money, rather than producing a good product that sells well.
Making skins is fairly fast and therefore profitable, so its what a lot of companies focus on.
I hope the Enlisted devs begin focusing more heavily on adding features and balance to their game, (which they alluded to in their “roadmap”), but I’m not going to hold my breath on it.
Keep in mind, inflation hits all businesses. A vast majority of these pricing differences come down to 2 things:
- Inflation
- Effort put in
Especially in the case of PC games, its not uncommon for a developer to make a deal with a modder to design something for the game and sell it, and that modder gets a piece of the profits. Which is where a lot of the cheaper options used to come into play.
I could go on, but I’m getting off subject. My point is, they make their core profits off of premium days. If you wish to alleviate some of the grind, and enjoy the game, I recommend buying into it.
I do hope so, they are allowed to make profits, like everyone does, but the product should be worth it so the services and content for it wont be considered overpriced, I mean I could spare 20 dollars for a year of premium, sure, even if its like 2 days of work, but the product should be that good you wont feel bad for paying, no wonder why skin packs are considered low effort business scheme, because they ultimately dont affect the gameplay, in Enlisted you kinda have to pay “rent” to progress and unlock new content in the first place, it DOES affect the gameplay, so the game should be THAT good, but it is not, that is why people hesitate and dont want to buy premium, especially from countries where every dollar counts.
