It had been signed by all participants of the second world war wether or not it was actually practiced. Officially medics were (and i think still are) organized in their own units. That goes for the axis, the western allies and even for the soviets if I am not mistaken.

Again, go play Squad. It works there and some people call that game “the most realistic milsim.” It’s not necromancy, it’s game mechanics. We’re already stretching it by being able to patch up gutshots and leg/arm wounds and continue fighting at full capacity with no blood loss or speed/aim penalty.
