Why is the judgment of "inactive players" so strict? (forum)

I just haven’t play this game for less than a week, and then I can’t reply to other people’s posts.
I think there isn’t just me who are waiting for the delayed update.
Isn’t this rule too strict?

When the Halloween event was out (undead and demons shooter) I only played that for a week than went on vacation for the weekend, only to find out that even though I played the game that week, I could not post. Because only staged games count towards that two games a week.

I have premium account, I actually play the game too and still get F over by forum.

not only is this system kinda R[edacted], but you can’t even replay to private messages.

you still have to play 2 random matches.

but events ( such as the halloween ) or custom games with mods don’t count either.

I find it weird that you cannot write private messages either.

I have only played twice in the past week, but do come to the forum every day out of habit. Next week I am taking a trip, but it is only like four days, so we’ll see what happens if I can’t make it to the forum in that time. However, I’m not losing any sleep over it.

Being able to post on the forum frequently is at minimum, proof that the player actually still plays the game.

2 random matches a week seems reasonably lenient for public posts.
Though not being allowed to send or reply to private messages is excessive.

Custom battles not counting seems fine given the likelihoof that it isn’t representative of the current state of the game, but event battles not counting is odd because they were very likely intended to promote player participation.

In the very least, I wish there was some way to check how long before your permission to post on the forums expires.

This is the only issue I have with this system.

Otherwise I am okay with it. There’s no reason for someone who’s currently not playing the game to participate in up to date discussions about the game.

Player with active premium account should be able to post regardless of that weekly two matches in my opinion.

Yea I don’t like it tbh especially right now where there’s no event to make me play and I just want to wait till one appear

not playing for one week doesnt make someone inactive player. this could easily be business trip or vacation where you dont have access to computer/console, but you have access to smartphone.

if you want to have activity measure then make it 2 in last week OR 5 in last 2 weeks OR 10 in last month.

I had this problem too.

I’ve notified the mods, they are aware of the issue and have passed our concerns on to DarkFlow.

It even affects them too that they themselves cant post.

It is a ridiculous system that should be removed.

Frankly I dont give a damn if you havent played for weeks, you should still have the right to post on the forum if you have a Gaijin account and have not broken any rules.

I couldnt even let the mods know what had happened due to this stupid system.

There is NO reason for this to exist. Some of the comments here seem to think if you havent played the game for a while you shouldnt post.

Why??? Enlisted updates take years, not days. I cant think of many times people have posted about something that’s already been implemented and sometimes players just genuinely werent aware.

The vast majority of posts are either feedback about updates and fixes, or discussions about player suggestions for the game.
I dont understand where ‘how often you play’ comes into this.

Someone posts theyd like to see Budapest map, I reply and say I agree and here’s some further suggestions for that idea. Doesnt matter whether I played 5 times today or havent played for 5 weeks.

The ONLY instance where this might be a little annoying is if someone made a big post asking for Budapest for example within a week of them adding Budapest maps. But that is quite unlikely and anyhow we have a great team of mods here who from what Ive seen do a good job monitoring this forum and would naturally address any problems like that.

We also see posts from people who havent posted in 6 months or 8 months or whatnot. So its like they could not play for half a year, then have a few days of battles and now they can post again. Theyd still be ‘outdated’ when it comes to information about the game. So the ‘issue’ isnt fixed either way (and I dont think it’s a problem anyway)

this is mainly to combat spammers and alt accounts. you could easily create dozens of alts to mass spam report someone you dont like(even now we have certain users abuse this). also if you have ever been part of forum without any account restrictions you would know how much spam bots ruin such forum if it doesnt have very active mods.
