Why I hate Japanese BR5

Of course, we got a Japanese BR5 a while ago so its probably too late to complain. But, let me explain why I hate this entire matchmaking thing.

In my opinion, the best matchmaking would be BR 1-2, 3-4, 5, or 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. If Enlisted had their matchmaking set up this way, they wouldn’t have to make a BR5 for every nation.

However, they set up a BR5 for Japan, consisting of weapons that were hardly, or never used during the war. This sets up a precedent that Enlisted will create a BR5 for any other nations that follow, including Chinese Nationalists/Communists, or Italians. These factions have been highly requested by the community, and I’m not sure if history has enough tanks to create a BR5 for such factions.

So if these factions were added, Enlisted would probably add Cold War tanks or Modern era tanks to fill in the gaps.

Not by the whole community but okay.

I have been wondering for some time.
If they are implemented, will the CCP and CCP faction be separated?
Or will it be a unified “Chinese faction”?

Yes, I know they were united while fighting the Japanese. So, as it stands, there is no need to separate the Faction, and a “China Faction” is all that is needed.
But the problem is if the game is extended to WW2 and beyond as the OP imagines. In history, after WW2, China was in a state of civil war.
If there is only one China Faction, players who play China Faction will fight against players of the same China Faction. This is strange.
And if you add historical fact based combat to the game, the Chinese Civil War is the end content for the Chinese Nationalist Party. They have not experienced a major battle since then.
So, I am also wondering if Japan and Germany can participate in the post WWII battles.

If the game adds post-Cold War content, it may have to throw out historical facts and have a fantasy battlefield like WT. A fictional battlefield would be needed for the German Leopard and Japanese Type 64 tanks, which have never experienced real combat.

Well, there’s no point of adding Chinese in any time soon. It would bring more issues than it’s really worthy.

Especially since Chinese gear wouldn’t be even unique one. Mostly just renamed and slightly tweaked weapons of different factions, and even less unique vehicles than Japan has.

The problem of not having BR 5 on Japan is it will affect matchmaking. Since BR5 Germany might not have enough player to match against US and USSR.

Same for many stuff in lower BR anyway.

There is no such thing as precedent to follow. Dev can do what they want, there is no law that force them to add BR5 for any other nations when they add BR5 to Japan.

There is no need to implement them as independent faction, sub faction will be sufficient.

I made a writing error here. Do you want the Chinese Nationalist Party and the Chinese Communist Party to be separate faction? I wanted to write.:grinning:

yea kinda like when warthunder first add them all their low br are soviet tank im pretty sure (havent play in a while so maybe im wrong)

What paranoia?

what? im pretty sure it in the other topic anyway it fine in 40 min it will be gone

Historically they have been divided during wars and have held each other back.

If DF really want a Chinese faction they can ignor the civil war history. I mean even mentioning this history will get this game banned in China trust me
