I just noticed the bazooka on practice mode for americans and saw a video from the game from last year where there were both bazookas and panzerschreks in the game. So that has been removed (hopefully temporarily) and I must ask: WHY? Was there any reason given for this?
I ask because Normandy could easily use these weapons, even if they were late-grind Bomber II ones. It would greatly help balance tanks in that campaign, which are more powerful than in the others, especially Berlin (close streets + panzerfausts). I just played a match in Normandy, where M5s and Shermans rapidly cruised through the narrow passageways of the Le Bre map, mowing down and slaughtering dozens of people while evading all explosive packs thrown at them.
Now I hit these several times with my âsturmpistoleâ and it might not even have been there because the tanks didnât get a single scratch. Once I went out of my way to take down this M5a1 tank that was pestering our team, I narrowly missed my explosive pack then I fired ALL shots of my sturmpistole and NOTHING happened. I fired it in the turret, I fired it in the back, I fired it on its sides and I fired it on the front. Nothing happened. No damage, not even a single crew member dead.
I really wonder what would happen if I had a PanzerschrekâŚ
Sitting on a roof across the map with a pzb already makes tankers panic and get themselves killed as a result.
They wouldnât know what to do if a bazooka fired in their general direction.
I suspect next updates, or the one after. Devs gave a teaser image of a German soldier with a Shrek some time ago. Should be with the next batch of unlockables đ¤ˇ
Canât wait, but I think it might ruin the balance and/or encourage newbs sniping in the tanks from afar so very curious to see how devs approach thisâŚ
honestly they need to be added. Currently tanks barely react to any anti-tank fire other than panzerfausts as they are the only thing that are legitimately dangerous to tanks in any campaign aside from detpacks.
agreed and its 50/50 atm on a stuart frontally/ sides are 80% kill ratio. i got tired of not being able to kill tanks with it anymore. i just equip tank mines and now everyone in tanks at least on normandy and soviet maps dont have anything to kill their late game tanks outside of late game tanks. anti tank mines are becoming popular.
anti tank mines. learn where tankers like to go and place them there if you end up falling back. i get like 4-6 kills alone with anti tank mines. then add another 3 or so kills with tnt.
Nothing to do with balance or gameplay, just to hold out finished contents like they always do. Maybe we can see them in the next major update with new vehicles
They will most likely be added to the later campaign levels as they might be too strong weapons at the moment. Also, if Darkflow is planning 40 levels per campaign, they better save up such content to have something to actually fill them without resorting to more nonsensical stuff such as Jumbo or PZIIIB.
Tankers: get killed once in a span of 5 minutes by a detpack after driving into a built up area
âtime to go make a thread about how detpacks are OPâ
Bazooka with M6a rocket has almost exactly same performance as PIAT - so it wonât be any difference at all in terms of lethality - almost exactly same muzzle velocity, same penetration.
Pâsherck will be better - if it were up to me Iâd âbalanceâ it by having the guy with it only have 2 or 3 ammo.
Infantry: charges head on at the point the same way every respawn
âtime to go make a thread because iâm bad at the game and canât use the detpack/anti tank/CAS correctlyâ
You guys have so many counters to tanks. Just admit youâre bad, take the L and move on kid
