Why Enlisted will die if nothing changes

Gaijin will not let this game eat away at their funds. Sure, there probably was initial investment, but I highly doubt Gaijin will just take the losses.

Gaijin and their related companies are sadly only really known for listening to the russian side of the forums. Very rarely do they take things from the English forum. You can see this from the bug reports alone and how rarely a developer replies with ā€œthank you for your reportā€ on the English forums.

Of course any dev can prove me wrong with a quick reply, but I highly doubt that will happen.

Just lurking while server is down but… i’m frankly for F2P, that’s why warthunder ( or even star conflict on a smaller scale) is still alive, you need to have the largest playerbase possible in order to have interesting battles, from there you can choose who you will pit against whom. if you lock some battles behind paywall you’ll end up with way less player and bots… which will end up killing the fun. Having a faster progression for people paying, or even some shinny small advantages, is expected from any F2P. Still the game is young and there is room for improvment especially on the premium side.

The issue is that War Thunder monetization scheme & literally with same numbers isn’t applicable to this, the concern is the game being dead on arrival, You weren’t here on the alpha & start referring back to topics dating all the way to mid September & so on.

The talk here isn’t about small advantages & the numbers are concerning, a way too much convenience is a literal P2W & that isn’t speaking about the premium squads or the battle pass system that they are testing in War Thunder. The game still faces issues with design decisions & yet we are waiting for a change so we could test & give feedback accordingly, & you are talking about monetization !?.

If this game gets enough players, they must add skill based matchmaking. As a Soviet main, i have to say win-rates were not a problem for me for a long time. It seems more players are starting to buy Soviet pack. I also play with my friends and we are all top 3 in every game so maybe i didn’t feel the issue because I play with good players. I also play on both EU and Eastern Europe serves and it seems that sometimes my team has no trouble winning but also sometimes, I have to carry my whole team. In EU servers germany wins but in eastern european server it’s the opposite. What we need is skill based matchmaking and we need it ASAP. The lack of skill based matchmaking threw battlefield V into the fire. The problem is that a lot of good players leave the match if they see bad players on their team

People like this should get their squads locked for the whole match, that’s it. Furthermore I saw you leaving, and I left some matches too. Sometimes you just don’t want to play with people and matchmaker is not going to change this.

I play only germans, it’s beacause of my personal preference.

a mad idea, from a mad lad.

hear me out;

what, if we try to translate in russian our post, and post them there?

this could work. but the problem is, we need a real russian.
perhaps it might work?.

It’s completely not true. I made a tread about op explosives and op PPD only at English part of the forum. And now it’s fixed.
So devs do listen
It a good decision got to play this game for a while not only make suggestions based on devs replies like you Cat do. How long did you play this game past week?

I can translate everything you want.
But I’m sure developers read all the parts.
BTW they don’t answer at russian part too.
The words meaning less, the actions much.

yeah, i guess you are right.

let’s just say, i redead too much cospiracy of english community regard the russian forum.
otherwise, glad to have some russian people checking also the english forum like you, moe and a couple of others…

too bad we can’t do vice versa.
anyway, yeah. i could agree that less chit chat, and more work. but communication sometimes it’s essential.

anyway, we’ll see.

Agree, the communication is the key. So if anyway you want some to be written in russian part I can participate.
Btw Yesterday one of enlisted top players funding to buy a new hardware for another top player. They are american and russian guys. I never seen something like that before and I’m quite fascinated about enlisted community.

ā€œVery rarelyā€ is not never. There is a severe lack of communication regardless of you having 1 (or handful amongst hundreds of topics) example of a dev replying.

I got more if you need, but I doubt devs got to answer everything you write. Especially than you doesn’t play a game or play it quite rarely.
I made some good ideas (I suppose) which was not taken by devs. And they have a reason. You can write and share your ideas but now you try to push it.

I’m not talking replies to me specifically. Furthermore, the ammount of hours I play a week has nothing to do with me or anyone being able or not being able to give feedback.

If the game is so bad that I only choose to spend 1 in 10 hours of gaming time I have every X days, that means that in my opinion, something has to change in order for me to be able to enjoy the game.

The developers should at least acknowledge public opinion. If a large amount of players talk about removing perks, or premium soldiers, or whatever, and nothing changes, it upsets people. Having the developers say anything from ā€œwe will be looking into thisā€ or ā€œwe are not planning to change thisā€, at least gives some level of certainty, which would help immensely. Now everyone just keeps repeating the same handful of topics.

I never asked the devs to answer with a ā€œyes we will do what you askā€ kind of answer. I only want the devs to tell the community that they have read stuff and if possible, their thoughts on it.

They have a dozens of work to take something to the game, not to remove it. I think it’s to early to speak about removing. Man we even don’t have a Madsen, Zb skin, we don’t have veteran ranks, we don’t have upgradble at-rifles, mortars, flamethrowers etc. The game is ready about 80 per cent. So, it’s definitely not a time to remove something.
What I think would be the best is to answer that question after game finally comes out. Until than its just a suggestion

Removing stuff was an example.
You can’t deny that a lot of people on the forums have made threads about progression, perks, premium squads, balance between nations, etc etc etc. With any of those large threads, it would benefit the community of the developers would give some form of feedback from them. They also have moderators who can do that for them and forward the most important information, but that doesn’t happen either.

Thing is, this game needs a lot of work, devs do not have time to answer every single suggestion or bug report on the forum and we (or at least I“m) are completely fine with that. It is both respectable and understandable.
However, complete silence on even most pressing and most discussed issues (often on many different threads) is pretty discouraging. How can we know, that we aren“t wasting our time? How can we know original idea of developers behind those issues or how do they look at them so we can engage in constructive discussion.
Truth be told, the most official replies in those topics are from moderators trying to calm us down when things get too hot.

Indeed. Imagine if I m a developer sometimes I did not want to be involved in some hot discussion. Especially then I have tons of work I need to do asap
@5762269 can prove it as an indie developer. BTW dark flow is a little indie studio making massive online fps.
And they have big publisher. It surely told them that they must do.

Well… point is that there should be some involvement in the most discussed issues.
For example: there is no point in fixing up dishes not disappearing after table is destroyed, if something bigger is driving away potential playerbase (aka p2w, perks being pretty much Captain America serums etc…) and are discussed a lot.
Don“t get me wrong I agree with you in this one, I don“t really want devs to engage in fights on the forum, that would also shed bad light on things. Its all about just telling us if or how is it being looked at, or whats their point of view/original idea from time to time. Simple as that.

Also, I highly doubt that involvement of Gaijin is to copy paste ignorance from their management in terms of communication in games that belong to them, to indie. Sure, this monetization we have now is pure gaijin (copy paste of top tier p2w from war thunder, to anyone who have doubts, check harrier gr1, pg 02, obj 120 etc., all these have one thing in common… they are purposefully set where they rolfstomp everything else with no effort and for insane purchase prices), I believe that. That is also why we should look at ways how we can at least try to neutralize the worst parts of it.

Of course, this is with my tinfoil hat sitting comfortably on my head, since wild guesses is with this level of communication all, that we have left. All this can also be just an oversight or different vision from darkflow that we have no idea about.
