For 5-6 months uniforms didn’t change after updates and now all of a sudden they changed randomly after 2-3 updates! It’s absolutely tedious to change them back to whatever your soldiers looked like and it makes me hate the game. I’m about to spend a big amount of money in the game but after the double randomizing uniforms after the last 2-3 patches it made me think again and hold on spending money. Yesterday I customized all my units back to what a had on them for an hour and a half and today a log in to find out they’re all random again thanks to the new update. Please really consider on either stopping the uniform change on a daily/random basis or add an option that’ll save your units appearances.

The worst thing is that they charge gold for this. All gold should be refunded, or should act as some kind “one time unlock” then, to change certain soldier as many times as you like.

You can change a soldier’s headgear and visible kit, such as if a soldier in a Moscow Soviet assaulter
squad has a bandolier or binoculars (which have no effect on gameplay) without using in game resources. You do it by putting the soldier into reserve, pressing “ok” then putting them back into the squad, repeating this process until you have your soldier dressed in the way you desire. This can be extremely tedious, especially if you, say wand the entire squad to have helmets or you want a very specific random combination, like a white ushanka and a hatchet for a Moscow sniper.
You can…but not with premium squads. So any changes you make there for gold are lost. I have been talking to support about this and I wont be investing in appearance again. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was done with bronze orders instead paid for game currency.

Not to mention if you have cosmetic appearances that can no longer be obtained in the game. You’re just out of luck and they can’t help you. Hopefully they get a customization system implemented.
