I’ve shot a full auto PPSh-41 and it stays on target well over 100 yards/meters but not in the game.
Before anyone says balance, guns like the Beretta M38, FNAB-43, and MP-40 dont move an inch in the game just like real life.
Even the german captured PPSh-41 (MP-717(r)) has way less recoil, now dont increase the recoil on all those other guns because its fine where it is, just lower it for the soviet SMGs.
Use the PPSh-41 then use the Beretta M38

Ppsh41 got twice the rof. And it has less recoil as well. I don’t know why you believe otherwise… I use Ppsh41 all the time in all 3 Soviet factions… it’s a real laser.
Have you fully upgraded them? At full upgrade there’s less dispersion, as such it “feels” like there’s even less recoil (even thought there’s almost none, really)
If it’s difficult to control, try firing in 2 or 3 seconds bursts. It’s more than enough to delete anyone, and it’s very accurate.

Yes all fully upgraded and ive tried 40% vertical recoil reduction and 30% horizontal recoil reduction, it still climbs up or up and right.
Compared to the other faction SMGs its inferior and i dont get why it should be one the lowest recoiling gun because i can keep it on target at 100 yards/meters in real life.
On Normandy the german Submachine Guns are extremely realistic while the soviet Submachine Guns on every campaign except the PPS-43, PPD-40 DSZ, and Early PPD-34 with 25 round magazine, those 3 are extremely controlable and easy to use while the PPD-34/38, PPD-40, and PPSh-41 are extremely hard to control.
Ill admit if your playing against real players using only Submachine Guns it can be effective, but with bots that kill you 0.75 seconds after seeing you you dont have time to compensate for recoil especially with the delays in the controls.
I just got out of a match with the PPS-43 and its a laser beam with realistic recoil with 40% vertical recoil reduction. It does fire at a unrealistic rate of 800 which is unrealistic it should be 700 not 800.
No, that’s not true - they have the same recoil but the Soviet version (because they are actually different production variants) shoots faster.
Also, just in case you really wanna fight for realistic recoil in this game, remember that the FG 42 exists:

The german captured PPSh-41 shoots slower because its using 7.63x25mm Mauser which has lower pressure that 7.62x25mm Tokarev

the Germans used their mauser pistol rounds with their captured PPSH, because those happen to fit into the weapon since the 7.62 Tokarev was basically just a copy of the 7.63 Mauser round, with higher pressure tho - thus the lower rate of fire with the 7.63.
Remember the Mauser C96 is a very old pistol.
I know 7.62x25 Tokarev is way higher pressure than 7.63x25 Mauser, it still doesn’t change the fact that i can spray a human sized target at 100 yards/meters with a PPSh-41 in real life
