Must depend on your time zone… I played yesterday evening and the Japanese faction just kept running in front of the AA halftrack, then merely stopped pushing after being fed up getting mowed.
Meanwhile me flanking, but alone in cap zones, didn’t mean much either…
I played 15 matches as the japs and won 2x. In my experience the japs just get shit on
I dont say is to bad, yes to much try harder for japanese but US still hit hard

Yes, the Japanese army’s weapons are basically shit, especially the Japanese army’s submachine guns have a low rate of fire, low damage, and extremely poor accuracy. The same is true for the Taisho 11-type machine gun, and the semi-automatic is garbage. I don’t understand why the production team provided the Japanese army with such poor equipment, and even provided the US military with a mechanism bonus, taking up points faster and replenishing more manpower. As long as the number and quality of U.S. players increase, it is difficult for the Japanese army to parry the offensive of the U.S. military even if it is a defender. 
I can already imagine how miserable the Japanese camp would be without the support of the player base.

To be honest, I’d rather have the weapons on both sides balanced a bit and then change the map a bit.
The current problem is mainly caused by the map layout. The terrain advantage of the defender is too great, and many firepower points can completely cover the offensive path.
Japanese weapon are historically bad, understand is hard for the dev team balance team, im sure later level gonna be better because they start add end-war prototype for now the situation is not so bad, because both side dont have too much auto weapon
