Why did they have to change the spawn point thing awhile back

As an engineer I put down a spawn point but them our team caps a point now my spawn point IS STILL IN BOUNDS but behind the new generic spawn points that pop up so then eventually my squad gets wiped out I can not spawn on the spawn point I put down but ONLY on the generic ones I need to spawn at the spawn point I made which is still in bounds … why … in order to A) minimize myself getting shot or anyone on my squad my spawn point is back further behind enemy lines and also because I need to destroy the spawn point … why … because I need to move it forward closer to the next objective and since it is still in bounds I have to now run back to it to destroy it … why … because I am the only squad that can destroy this spawn point so the Big Question is why did they have to design this to where I cannot spawn on a spawn point that I made that is in bounds why the change ???

Really hard to get what you are complaining about…Some punctuation might have helped - a sentence - even a paragraph or 2??

I think it is this:
1/ on defence a spawn point you made is still in bounds, but becomes “behind enemy lines” when you lose a cap; and
2/ you cannot make another spawn point until you destroy the previous one; and
3/ if you spawn on the old one you have no spawn protection so you get killed before you can destroy it.

Is that it?

Well what are the alternaives -

1/ you spawn with protection behind enemy lines? I don’t think that is a grteat idea - great for you, not so great for hte game!
2/ other team members can destroyu the point? Well they will have to spawn on it too so they have the same problem dying quickly
3/ Auto demolish all defending spawn points if you lose a cap? A bit harsh - likely many will be still useful
4/ Auto-demolish spawn points if an anamy default point is closer to the cap than they are? Maybe - but even then some spawn points can be in hidden areas and quite useful…

5/ You could see that you’re about to lose hte cap and arrange to destroy it in advance - bit rouogh but doable

6/ Wait until you lose another cap and hte spawn point is auto-destroyed because it is not out of bounds??

Ok let me try and explain it better let’s say the map is D Day I put down a spawn point about even with the objective on a flank of it on a flank of the objective.

Then our team caps the spawn point the way the map works is each time we cap a spawn point the new objective appears and it is further up the map in addition the game generates two spawns that the team can spawn on - we have not lost an objective we have gotten one.

So now my spawn is back a ways even further back than the two new ones that were generated.

In the event my squad gets taken out it no longer shows my spawn point that I put down I am unable to spawn on it. Most all of my squads have an engineer unit.

So when I spawn with my new squad with the new engineer unit I cannot put down a spawn point the reason is because I put down one earlier with my other engineer that was in my other squad so now in order to help the team out and put down a spawn point on the flank of the new objective or closer to it than the new spawns the game made I have to run way back to my spawn and destroy it. The spawn I have to go destroy is now a ways back and only I can destroy it I have tried to destroy other spawns my team put down because I thought they were mine but it does not let me so I have to run back and destroy this spawn I put down earlier …

rather than simply spawning on it and destroying it.

I will try and do screen shots too

OK - so attacking.

That is exactly what I do - I spawn on my points and dismantle them so I can rebuild closer to the new objectives.

If my point is no longer there then it must have been destroyed - artillery or bombs or enemy infantry can do that -and I can build another one so that’s fine. It is rare to have a point disappear, but it does happen.

And that’s the sum total of my experience - either I dismantle a point, or the enemy did it for me, and I can build another.
