Why did old enlisted display stats like this?

I remember a long time ago enlisted would display the rpm of some guns as a range not a set number, seen here:

Although this is no longer the case, I was wondering if anyone could explain why it used to be displayed like this?

I am sure someone can, but I don’t think hte Dev’s or UI designers frequent here much

I need this gun.

I don’t think I have seen that gun before.

Its a preorder 2015 year pack - this one, Springfield airfield, Mosin 1987

Yeah, I wish I had this gun as well, at least we can still get the Gew 98 war time mod every now and then, that’s similar enough.

Because the rate of fire varied, so you could shoot anywhere from 69 to 76 rpm
It wasn’t a fixed value

Is the current rpm shown on guns a average or has varied rpm been totally removed?

varied rpm was completely deleted
