Although this is no longer the case, I was wondering if anyone could explain why it used to be displayed like this?

Yeah, I wish I had this gun as well, at least we can still get the Gew 98 war time mod every now and then, that’s similar enough.
Because the rate of fire varied, so you could shoot anywhere from 69 to 76 rpm

Is the current rpm shown on guns a average or has varied rpm been totally removed?
varied rpm was completely deleted
