Why did my SVT-38 get this weird name?

It looks like a German captured designation. If it’s really given to the Germans, I can’t wait to see the players go wild in battle!

how do you even say that

selds-lad-geveer?

I’m not german either, so I’m completely clueless at how to pronounce it too. All I know is gewehr is pronounced as ge-veer.

Selbst - self
Lade - load
Gewehr - rifle

Interesting if it’s a leak of yet another captured weapon addition: PPS-43, PPSh obrez, PPSh box, PPSh drum

Maybe we should just lower the ZH-29 on BR3? Trophies again. How much longer can this go on? Maybe you should just open a Soviet branch for the Germans so they can take everything they need. Why not?

I dont entirely disagree, though the germans did field more than enough captured gear to justify it, I mean they had more captured soviet gear than the soviets had lend lease gear, minus tanks imo.

Personally Id rather it as an event item, just so its not everywhere since it is just flat out the best semi at BR3.

Then I want the event MP-40

You have a premium one, but yeah an event one is no issue, though I dunno if the MP40 was popular with soviet forces other than as a trophy.

However, in premium there is a partisan modification of the MP-40, adapted for installing a bag for collecting shells. I want a regular one in the event.

Yeah thats fair, I mean Im all for it, its certainly not going to be a meta weapon, only for those collectors and those who fancy a little change of pace from the OP BR2 soviet stuff.

Hurricane SMG is a mistake.

oh the Uragan, does that translate to hurricane? That’s cool to know.

But yes 100%, the PPS was already OP, but the random one off partisan weapon that had no right being a TT weapon was added for some literally unknown reason, especially since BR2 soviets really didnt need another SMG, BR3 did though, for diversity at least.

Funny bit of WW2 SMG history, both Germany and the Soviets in return thought that the other guy had better SMGs, which is hillarious to me. Standard “grass is greener on the other side” attitude, whatever the other guy has is always better than what you got, this is the explenation why the Germans converted the PPSh-41 to 9mm for German service, I don’t know about specifics on the other side because Soviet equipment is one of my weakpoints (I really only know about British and Swedish WW2 gear, and a little less but respectable ammount for Germany and the US).
