I suspect, this has been asked before, but it’s taking me too long to find.
Why exactly is dispersion a hidden stat? I find it to be just as important to know as damage, ROF and recoil. What’s the point of not letting the player know? Why must we waste our time by going to the range and finding it out ourselves?
If they want to save space in the stat card, they can just delete weight and calibre, since weight isn’t shown correctly anyway and calibre is meaningless info in gameplay terms.
Also, why is turret traverse speed no longer shown for tanks?
Do the devs think our brains might melt, if we have to read too much?
Why religiously follow the stat cards when you could just test the gun at the range or in combat itself? The game doesn’t even have the stat cards right with some guns feel different in combat compared to on paper.
It’s much more important to know about your tank without looking at stat cards considering the significant difference of having a fully upgraded tank to a stock one. Anyone who has played War Thunder knows this.
Testing and comparing every gun at the range takes time and it’s not even possible with every gun.
It’s possible with premium squads nowadays, but gold order weapons still can’t be tested.
Also, just because the displayed stats can be incorrect, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be there.
Information should be complete AND correct.
I see no reason for withholding info besides, that it enables devs to shadow-nerf guns.
Smart ass comments aside. Someone was complaining they couldnt test gold card weapons.
That was a tip for them “currently”…
That was for them. Nothing to do with saying yes or no to stat card
Stat cards great and all. But on paper is one thing, in practice is something else. Im not wasting a gold card cos it looks good on paper without testing it first.
