So not too long ago, gaijin did an update that allows you to switch your bots behavior, between passive and agressive mode. I have realised that when bots are on agressive mode (which is the standard mode on) the bots actively runs around, searching for targets. And when they do find one, they are commited to fight to the point that they wont listen to you when you want them to leave. This might explain why the act so disobidient at times. And why they keep on running ahead of you outside of cover when you want them to not expose them selves, they are literally looking for a fight.
I think that people have not realised that they need to switch the bots to passive mode (they dont shoot unless fired upon and generaly stays close to you) to sneak or flank the enemy or just dont get themselves killed. This was never an issue in first place, we as players have failed to understand and utilize the controls.
Passive helps but doesn’t fully stop them from doing what you said

No they just broke the AI so they will get stuck on knee high walls, there’s one spawn on quarry in Moscow in THE ATTIC OF A BUILDING and the ai can’t get out so the attacking team just loses
really? that’s fucked up. I thought all fixed spawn in on ground level
I wish it was so but this was the end result of effectively 3v10
Bots have gotten a lot better since the start
It seems like they have some sort of ADHD and can’t stop moving.
If you tell them to defend a point, and if anyone gets near that spot, they will run on line to kill said person resulting in death 80% of the time.
It’s like they’re a dog or something defending their territory, if they sniff anyone getting too close they attack.
Solution to bots running around is this: Premade positions for bots in buildings
It’s already in Tunesia and it works great already although it needs polishing.
