"Why are we playing with airsoft guns?" or "8 things that will improve gunplay significantly"

What do we have in game now?
All guns shoot same white slow projectiles (Airsoft BBs?) All guns are very inaccurate as they were using plastic smoothbore barrels instead of steel rifled ones. All guns have linear and predictable recoil, despite the fact that WW2 military ammunition weren’t of perfect quality.

Suggestions:

  1. Striker and hammers - on most of BAs and pistols these parts aren’t animated. (As if guns were powered by green gas).
  2. Bullet tracers - add an option to turn off tracers for firearms and smoke traces for HMGs and tank cannons. Also, it would be nice to see increased muzzle flashes (in 3d person view) and particles of wood, dirt or blood on the place of impact. Right now playing without hitmarkers is painful.
  3. Gun blur - maybe devs have some secret documents that all soldiers in WW2 had the hypermetropia, but I don’t believe in it. Can we have slider with decrease/increase blur or simple toggle on/off options?
  4. Gun chamber - gas-operated firearms hold 1 round in the chamber after extraction of the magazine. It would be nice to see that +1 round on all gas-operated guns.
  5. Rifled barrels - firearms with rifled barrels are incredibly accurate, so I’d suggest decrease accuracy to (0.01 for long-barrel firearms and to 0.05 for pistols and SMGs).
  6. Recoil - right now it is very linear and predictable, I’d suggest to make it stronger and more random.
  7. Penetration - I know, that it was implemented before, and I really miss this mechanic.
  8. Bipods - bipods are bipods, why players can’t use them?

Idk ammo in enlisted doesn’t feel that slow for me but I’m no expert.

Maybe I feel that its slow, because it is visible.

Every FPS game has visible bullet trajectories. It just makes the game look more polished plus it lets you lead your aim

Insurgency, Squad, Tarkov

So I’ve suggested to add an option to disable it, not to force everyone to play with “invisible” bullets. And next part would make game look even more polished:

I never played insurgency but squad and tarkov are very passive, realistic war simulators. Enlisted is an arcade game. It shares more similarities with other classic FPS games than it does with war simulators

I’ve take a break from Enlisted for a couple weeks and currently I’m playing Insurgency Sandstorm.
What I can say, is that Insurgency have best gun feel I’ve ever had (combination of high recoil, bullet impacts on surfaces and other players and awesome animations).
About “passiveness” - Squad and Arma are large-scale milsims and Tarkov is an full-loot shooter so life is also very valuable. On the other hand, Insurgency is a tactical fps on small-scale maps so aggressive playstyle is very rewarding there.

Sounds cool. I’ll definitely check it on youtube
Can I buy it on Steam?

Yeah, you can.

Tracers are important for game balance. I’m not saying EVERY SINGLE BULLET needs to be a tracer, but a large majority do. Otherwise it could easily become too difficult to figure out what was coming from where. In addition, it makes up for lack of teammate support in regards to marking enemy positions for aircraft.
