Why are we not allowed to change nationalities of premium/event soldiers?

I would understand if we couldn’t change nationalities of unique soldiers with medals.

But I don’t understand why I can’t, for example, change nationalities of soldiers in TZ-45 squad. Literally locking me out of option to play as Italian while using an Italian weapon. And there are many such cases.

Unless the problem is in spaghetti code, I really don’t understand the decision.

Probably for the same reason they don’t allow us to change weapons with premium squads, because they are so called “Unique”. :roll_eyes: The only thing “Unique” about them IMOP is that you’re stuck using them where DF tells you to, instead of being able to arm and use them at any other level like with TT squads. So, if you are over stacked with premium squads at a certain level, then some just collect dust.
