Why are Partisans dying on enemy spawn points?

Remove this, no one in his right mind would stay in a place where enemies are being protected with an damage immunity anyways. Problem is that partisans are said to counter greyzone camping but what about tanks that stay in enemy spawn points? I just lost an entire squad trying to use a TNT on a camping King Tiger

Maybe I should specify on which map I played, it was that swamp in Normandy with three points you have to capture all the time. Forgot how the mode is called but enemies had a spawn near to a hill from which they could see an entire map. So it was a perfect spot for tank camping

no planes? In that situation I would have kept the tank marked and asked the team to bring in a plane. im sure anyone would love to bomb them. Did you try walking to the other side of where the tank was at? I think the pop up saying youre to close to a spawn point and it still being a grey zone is valid because people wouldnt want to die after 5 seconds of spawning in. You just got severed the short end of the stick in that situation unfortunately.

probably to stop people from throwing anti tank mines on the tank spawn, because tanks themselves are not protected even if the crew is

Because sticking TNT on tanks the moment they spawn is a bit stupid.

Step 1: Wait behind enemy tankspawn
Step 2: Stick TNT on any tank spawning then hide
Step 3: Wait for spawn protection to run out
Step 4: profit

The best part is that tanks dont even know you exist or cant act really respond at all as the tank is facing the wrong way.

Maps should instead be remodelled so that they can’t provide fire from either tank or infantry spawns. It’s dumb that guerrillas can enter the greyzone, but the camping tanks they’re supposed to hunt are still being protected by another invisible barrier that kills you for being in it (which is also way more punishing than the normal greyzone).

It doesn’t stop it at all, you still have a few seconds to run in and place one. Placing a AT mine (or several) on the most likely path out will have the same effect anyway.

I normally do that as well but they had lots of AAs and team wasnt really responsive to anything. As for the tank, I tried, but it was exactly in the middle of two spawn “circles”
As for the 5 secs rule, I think it just would be best if the time would be extended a little

Yes, I was doing that lots of times but you dont get what I mean. Both tanks and infantry spawn in different places, and the tank Im speaking about was camping in a place where infantry was spawning, so I wasnt able to reach it with my partisans

exactly, remove partisans - being able to move into the protected area of the enemy team is spawn killing and should in no way be possible.

lol
