Whose idea was it to buff the guerrillas?

So they buffed Guerrillas at the second test (4 → 5 man if you don’t know).
I wonder where they got the feedback that the guerrillas were too weak?
I only see concerns about guerrillas might break the game from forums.

Do they care about player feedback?

They didn’t even fix customization for them.

They ignored feedback of buffing Medics , Sniper and MG squads multiple times, they ignored my feedback of increasing squad size of premium squads that got power creeped by Paratroopers and then added ridiculous buff to the already overpowered Guerrilla squads.

Remember they can carry two guns of over 300 rounds so they don’t need engineers since they will never run out of the rounds so i see no reason to give them yet another trooper with 600 rounds :face_vomiting: What the hell is this WH40k? Are they preparing next class to be space marine holding unlimited ammo or something?

I don’t even mention call to bring down TD to lower BR it’s just obvious, and after many years they still don’t care unless they are a paid squads.

conders + EMP-44 makes you have 592 rounds

You have to look at it from the devs perspective: They’re selling a product. They want that product to sell well. So in the initial phase, the guerrillas will be overpowered and more people will buy them.

Later on—when the community complains about it—the devs will “listen” to your complaints, nerf the guerrillas, and everybody will be happy!

  1. The devs get their money.

  2. The players get the guerrillas nerfed and feel that the devs are “listening to them.”

  3. The people who purchased the guerrillas get to roam around in the gray zone blowing up tanks as they were promised, albeit with a slightly nerfed crew.

Win, Win, Win!

I’m not really concerned. Unless the devs heavily reduce the grey zone barrier for regular players then it’s a necessary evil.

I don’t think they will decrease number of soldiers as a nerf. It’s giving ppl a ready argument for complains and potential flame war.

Close + you can also use your pistol too because why not.

Yeah they did the same thing as with the Paras then nerfed them two times.

Maybe not, but they could take ammunition away, take some explosives away, limit the amount of time they can spend in the gray zone, etc.

I think they’re going to ruin the game regardless of how they’re buffed or nerfed. “Guerillas” were not running around battlefields in WWII. Period. Imagine every other squad in the match running around with fedoras and eye patches. :unamused:

Have they ever cared about the rights and interests of normal players and the gaming environment?
They will only think that protecting anti-intellectual groups is protecting the game.
(Including but not limited to aircraft, tanks, impact grenades, machine gun sandbags, communication bombers, flamethrowers, and equipment abusers in high-level environments,Terrain modification)
Can you imagine?
They even give high-level gear abusers a chance to parasitize high-level tanks
