What?

Doesn’t matter, anti merge effort is irrelevant and meaningless.
If you don’t like it, you can always stop playing and find different game.

Well, I didn’t really follow the debates of those against the war thunder conversion.

I’m even ok with it, as long as it’s done well…

I think those against it still have HA as their biggest argument, but it has been out of the table for months, so…

I will be okay with it as long as there are no WT like teams (meaning one team made of japanese and US against team 2 made of german and soviets).

What is wrong with the merch?

I’d personally say it’s price… but on deals is fine :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you seen it? Pretty low effort. They need to at least put some of the better event art on their shirts if they want to move product. I can’t speak to the quality or fit.

I’m not necessarily entirely anti merge, but I think it plus the BR may be convoluted and messy. And of coarse that’s a whole bunch of other debates

I will say the one good thing is keeping all human players in a single matchmaker

I’ve said we need to see the merge AND BR matchmaking in the test server together so we can see the initial impact.

Also just a reminder that this game is a constant work in process. Everything is always liable to change. For all we know there will be yet another major update in the future

There’s a coalition against Enlisted hats, and Parrot is interested.

Let’s come back here after the actual update, and then we’ll talk.

It will be very interesting for me to see what kind of functioning Enlisted we will have after the merge. But it’s just hard to believe that one of the main arguments, the ones that actually support merge, is simply more frequent encounters with another player and a slightly tweaked weapon tech tree? Because it’s very weak arguments compared to how much will be taken from Enlisted.

On the other hand, it is no longer unavoidable in any case.

I just want more content, that’s the main argument. If Enlisted completely ingnored merge and continued with campaign concept. We would eventually end up with 20+ campaigns. In which popularity of specific faction would be even more significant. Why? Because loosing is just extremely inefficient in enlisted.
So we would end up with Moscow, Normandy (these will stay favorite a populated no matter what) and then other 18 Tunisia like campaigns, in which would be basically possible to play only one faction.
And don’t even let me start about exping mp40 for 15th time.

Campaign concept is just bad overall. And definitely not sustainable for the future.

Yeah, there were definitely other concepts which devs could choose. For example only mwrge specific campaigns to into west front, east front, Pacific and then make tech unique trees for these separated big campaigns.

But devs simply choose this concept, because they can easily use experiences which Gaijin get during 11 years development of WT.
It’s definitely more safe than just again experimenting with something, that’s completely new.

I think devs has chosen the most safe way. And it’s better to support than hate the change from get go. Especially if you like this game.

Everyone who’s hating on merge at this point, is acting just illogical. Merge is inevitable at this point. It will happen no matter how much you are scared of it.
So the best thing you can do is keep suggest relevant ideas, which could improve this game. But you should respect, that merge concept will stay. Suggesting completely different system at this point is just pure stupid. You are just wasting your energy and time. And nobody will care anyway, at least no one relevant.

It’s not like everyone who accepts merge loves it. But they can still respect it. And I think, and this point. Everyone should.
If you really hate this concept, answer is pretty straightforward. This game will no longer be for you. That’s it.

Its unbelievable how many people blindly support the merge and even defend it blindly like zealots despite some concerns especially those that are legitimate. If the merge is executed poorly, many will quit, even those who went in the game for campaigns in the first place will also quit.

The current situation with WWII shooters in the market is actually small with Hell Let Loose having its own problems, Heroes & Generals being dead and Post Scriptum stopped development while older games are dated in various things whether its gameplay mechanics, gunplay, graphics, etc besides population not the same as during its heyday.

With Enlisted basically lack competition(don’t say Hell Let Loose as its a completely different game besides some messy development with the game purchased by Team17), Gaijin can get away of making this game into another War Thunder with infantry like who knows in a few years, we will start seeing Cold War stuff or even modern ones.

Will you still support your government even if they want to triple the taxes you pay but doesn’t do shit in social issues? This is not a command economy or a totalitarian society but I’m not expecting sheep like you to understand.

Maybe some anti merge may still play but will not spend another dime with this game but others may move on until some other game company is interested to make a competitor or guys like Team17 make more Eastern Front stuff in Hell Let Loose or some other World War II game from a different company that’s not Heroes and Generals. War Thunder still basically remains a monopoly in certain areas until this day and will continue try something to screw the players and get away from it until a massive backlash happens.

Until someone makes a Red Orchestra 3 or a true successor of it with the secret sauce and even improve it, maybe we stay to Enlisted or move on to somewhere else but high chances that its not a WWII game.
