We have An American, American-Brit, Brit, Scott, Italian, Russian. So like WW2 was it a group effort of ‘equals’?. Or did one country light up the night pick your favorite 19th century egghead. Winner so far Edison of America but opinions are slooowly changing. How are the bulb and WW2 invented both had a winner, and everyone claims credit.
What?
PS, I wanted to post a single question mark and wasnt allowed, tried two since that the min character limit, was allowed the not because its not a full sentence. thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Among people who contributed to the incandescent bulb are an American, American-Brit, Brit, Scott, Italian, Russian scientists. Just as with WW2 it has been called a group effort created by a consortium of ‘equals’ or equally contributing member?. Was it a community of independently operating nations/scientists or did one country light up the night you can pick your favorite 19th century egghead and decide. History and pop culture chose Edison an American but opinions are slooowly changing. How are the bulb and WW2 invented both had a winner, and everyone is claiming credit.
who gets credit. the one working the longest, put in the most work, crossed the finish line first or everyone on the winning team equally, even if with the bulb no one knew they were on a team?
What?
._.
Seems that is wrong place for this no??
I would have thought so as well, but saying Canada was a minor WW2 power is now a hate crime, who knew
No one won WW2, everyone suffered - especially the Soviets.
Yes and no suffering is the most important contribution a country can make
A highly philosophical question, I think I rather attempt to answer it from a legal view.
Scientists working for a company are paid regularly thus they are considered properly compensated and the invention belongs to the company, if that company is American than it’s an American invention even if no American worked on it.
However I don’t think you can compare a human achievement that contributed to all of humanity’s welfare to a war that brought only death and destruction.
As for which nation “won” WW2, I think that answer is actually really simple, all nations won that achieved their goals.
The only real question is, whose company they worked for? I can’t answer that without a ban though.
