Who asked for these?

Replace the Ofenrohr in the US tech tree with the M20 Super Bazooka. Then replace the Ofenrohr in the Japanese tech tree with a captured M20 Super Bazooka. (It doesn’t matter anymore if the M20 is post war, we are getting a post war Soviet Jet). If the Soviet Jet is being added for balancing reasons against the German Jets, then the M20 Super Bazooka can be added for balancing reasons as well.

It would make more sense for the Japanese to get a captured US weapon in their tech tree, than get a Ofenrohr that they may have bought a handful of (I don’t even know if they got any).

Uptier the PPS-43 into BR 3, so this new Soviet SMG will actually be picked to be used by players in BR 2. As for the Federov, I don’t really care about it being added. But I’m pretty sure there were a few versions of experimental Semi-Automatic Mosin Nagant made that could add more variety instead of another Federov.

Edit : One was already posted in the thread.

If you visited the Russian forum, you would know that the Soviets on the Russian forum have been whining for a semi-automatic rifle on the 2br for a very long time and have been waiting for it for a year, even a little more. All soviets on russian forum are very happy now.

Why not, in addition, with such a high rate of fire it will destroy all living things from the bipod or at point-blank range, for some reason it seems to me that on urban maps points in buildings with it will be very convenient to clean them

I agree, I don’t quite understand the meaning of such a submachine gun in the USSR, besides it’s another PPS reskin, it will be played in the same way. USSR players will be like “Give us a submachine gun for 2bp with moderate rate of fire and good damage like MP-40”, and Darkflow will be like “No, we will give you another rapid-fire submachine gun with so-so damage, which will be played as a PPS reskin most likely”.

Yeah, that thing looks cool

We both know that PPS-42 is the best smg at BR2 and PPS-43 is just worse due increased recoil and dispersion. PPS-42 should get nerfed hard it makes all guns obsolete. And germany should finally get some equivalent to PPS-42 and PPS-43 in a TT at BR2 why do we need to wait till BR3 to receive similar guns?

I haven’t played Soviets in forever so I honestly don’t remember which has better stats, I just assume the PPS-43 must have better stats since its supposed to be an upgrade to the PPS-42 in game. (In reality probably just a cheaper to make version).

If PPS-42 has better stats in game then the stats should be swapped with the PPS-43 because it makes no sense for an “upgrade” to have worst stats than the weapon it is supposed to be an “upgrade” of.

Anyway, I suggest the PPS-43 performing better than the PPS-42 and the PPS-43 then being placed into BR 3.

Fedorov rifle 1912 BR2 5 round and clip reload is not bad

except it doesn’t

rof is not everything if 30% of your shots are missing due of added recoil, pps-42 should get a nerf, pps-43 get a buff and place it at BR3, German smgs at BR2 should get a buff as they wouldn’t compete with pps-42 even after nerf. And honestly FNAB-43 should get their faster firing version.

I honestly just remember them both being laser guns and not feeling much different. But anyway yeah, PPS-43 should perform better than the PPS-42 for gameplay purposes (An upgrade should be an actual upgrade), and then placed into BR 3.

I personally suggested a BR2 semi-auto rifle for Soviets before. Im not denying that Soviets needed this rifle, I dislike how little effort DF put into it.

I also think that 15.3 damage is powercreep for a BR2 TT semi-auto rifle, but creep seems to be the new norm for content.

I made a detailed topic about that so Im not repeating it

But in short: there are many other things Axis actually asked for such as BR3 sniper rifle, BR5 Jabo, Italian aircraft and tanks…

Grass is greener syndrome.
Kinda makes me think that Darkflow will change the BR of some SMGs soon.

You should play some BR2 USSR to see which gun the veterans use, you will find that the best players cycle nothing but assaulters with Pps42s.

They want you to buy

Just liike they want Ger players to buy:

if they want some high rof and controllable smgs, in a TT you have none of smgs that are similar to pps-42/43, FNAB-43 should get a rof increase to 600-700.

Shameless deals, but I did fall for all of them so they are doing some thing well…
Anyway even if Darkflow fixed the FNAB-43, they will move it up to BR3 or maybe even BR4.

I run into plenty of PPS users while playing as Low BR Germany but I rarely ever really pay enough attention to see which one they are specifically using.

(All I know is if I run into someone running an assault squad with full body armor in low BR they will certainly have a PPS in their hands instead of PPD-34)

maybe they are planning to move PPS to BR III with this new SMG and Reising Model 50 with 30 rounds that soviets got form LL maybe we can finally move PPS to BR III.

Not gonna lie, Pps42 and 43 would easily fit BR3 as they are.
Though Pps43 could get a recoil buff.

Yes and Uragan and Reising with 30 rounds at BR II will be good BR II more balanced options for USSR.

I used to use all PPS43’s. but prefer the PPS42 and use it with all my BR2 squads. I still arm my pilots with the PPS43, but only so I can still field them.

Well, remember that these models are “temporary” and we would eventually get domestic models… probably after the bayonet for the FG42 and nationalities for soldiers.

so it will only stay this way for 4 year?

No they didnt. Its a different rifle just of Fedorov gun family.

As for who asked, there were people posting plenty of posts about it. For the rest I can agree

I would say at least two.
